A BABY DECAPITATED BY A DOCTOR DURING LABOR IS FINALLY RULED A HOMICIDE. (PHOTO).

A baby decapitated by a doctor during labor is finally ruled a homicide.

We first wrote about the awful labor experience and extreme measures the hospital and staff went to to hide their actions over the summer. To summarize our original story; Jessica Ross and Treveon are suing the hospital and attending physician after the reprehensible actions. During labor Jessica's baby became stuck most likely due to the baby's shoulder becoming stuck behind the mothers pubic bone.

There are procedures to deal with this not entirely uncommon  birthing complication. However, Dr. Tracey St. Julian did none of these standard medical procedures, instead she forced Jessica to push for 3 hours after Jessica requested a C section. When continued pushing wasn't working St.Julian used excessive force to such a degree he decapitated the baby. Only then did she do an emergency C-section to deliver the deceased child, whom up until delivery was extremely healthy.

The gross negligence doesn't end there, after being delivered deceased, staff wouldn't let them see or touch the baby and encouraged them to cremate their baby immediately.  They went so far as to tightly wrap the baby in an attempt to hide the fact it had been decapitated!

The parents only became aware of the shocking details of their child's death when the funeral home contacted them due to how unusual it was that a newborn was decapitated.

The parents were rightfully shocked and appalled. They sought legal counsel to begin the steps towards justice for their child. It has been an uphill battle fighting against the code of medical silence that permeates the hospital and the, 'I have your back even when you're wrong' additude that also permeates this medical institution.

This week the Georgia medical examiner ruled the baby's death as a homicide; citing the cause as being a broken neck from human action. This has to feel like a win in their extreme uphill battle for justice for little Treveon Jr.

We pray that this family can finally get closure for this horrible experience on what should have been one of their happiest days on earth.
