 Again, Gov Diri Tasks Traditional Rulers To Maintain Peace, Security At King Awala's Coronation  Bayelsa State Governor, Senator Douye Diri, has again urged traditional rulers to remain focused on the maintenance of peace, security and stability in their various domains as part of their contribution towards the development of the state. Governor Diri made the call at the weekend during the coronation ceremony ofHis Royal Majesty King Victor Awala, Ebeni-Ibe the Eighth (VIII) of Atissa Kingdom in the Yenagoa Local Government Area of Bayelsa State, at the Bishop Dimieari Grammar School, Yenagoa, the state capital. Represented by his deputy, Dr Peter Akpe, the Bayelsa Chief Executive acknowledged the critical role traditional rulers play in society as the custodians of culture and tradition, stressing that his administration will continue to hold them in high esteem. Anambra State Government Closes Wintess Garden Hotels Over Sex Party Anambra State Government through the Ministry of Culture , Entertainment and Tourism has closed down Wintess Garden Hotels Ifite Awka over the viral Sex Party that was allegedly held in the hotel. Days ago, videos of a Party emerged online where people were having sex while some were watching and recording the sex styles. Since then, different reactions have trailed that particular act and people urged the Government of Prof. Soludo to wade in and rescue the situation to avoid repeat of such immorality in the State capital.  Anambra State Government has finally commenced investigation and the first step is to temporary close the hotel where the event took place. The Queen died peacefully at Balmoral this afternoon. The King and The Queen Consort will remain at Balmoral this evening and will return to London tomorrow. Thursday  September 8,2022. She was 96 years old. 1926 - 2022. Rest in peace Queen.  Official press release from the palace
