 October 1 protest: Ogun court restricts protesters to MKO Abiola Stadium, three other venues A High Court sitting in Abeokuta, Ogun State, has restricted members of the #FearlessInOctober protest groups in the state to the MKO Abiola Stadium in Abeokuta, Gateway International Stadium, Sagamu; Dipo Dina Stadium, Ijebu Ode, and Ansar-Ud-Deen Comprehensive High School, Ota. The court presided by Tajudeen. A.Okunsokan gave this order following an application brought by the Attorney-General of Ogun State in suit no AB/667/2024, and with Messers Afolabi Adeboye, Ifemosu Michael, Lekan Soneye (for themselves and members of the#FearlessInOctober protests); Bestman Okereafor (on behalf of the Progressive Students Movement), Francis Adeyanju (on behalf of the National Association of Nigerian Students) and Thomas Kehinde (on behalf of the National Association of Ogun Students), as respondents. Anambra State Government Closes Wintess Garden Hotels Over Sex Party Anambra State Government through the Ministry of Culture , Entertainment and Tourism has closed down Wintess Garden Hotels Ifite Awka over the viral Sex Party that was allegedly held in the hotel. Days ago, videos of a Party emerged online where people were having sex while some were watching and recording the sex styles. Since then, different reactions have trailed that particular act and people urged the Government of Prof. Soludo to wade in and rescue the situation to avoid repeat of such immorality in the State capital.  Anambra State Government has finally commenced investigation and the first step is to temporary close the hotel where the event took place. The Queen died peacefully at Balmoral this afternoon. The King and The Queen Consort will remain at Balmoral this evening and will return to London tomorrow. Thursday  September 8,2022. She was 96 years old. 1926 - 2022. Rest in peace Queen.  Official press release from the palace
