 PRESIDENT TINUBU EULOGIZES DR THOMPSON ABAYOMI OSHIN ON HIS CENTENNIAL BIRTHDAY President Bola Tinubu congratulates Dr Thompson Abayomi Oshin, a renowned healthcare professional, educator, and humanitarian, on his 100th birthday. Dr Oshin, widely regarded as the father of physiotherapy in Nigeria, is a pioneer of physiotherapy in Africa. He is the first head and consultant physiotherapist at the University College Hospital (UCH), Ibadan, and served as the first Secretary-General of the African Physiotherapy Organisation following his election in Cairo in 1980. A statement by Special Adviser to President Tinubu on Information and Strategy Bayo Onanuga says the President also salutes Pa Oshin, who helped transform physiotherapy from a hospital-based technical service into a respected university-level profession, laying the foundation for modern physiotherapy education and practice in Nigeria.              Sourcse claimed yesterday that Charly boy disgraced Okorocha,midway into his speech after the catholic Bishop invited Okorocha to the alter to pay triute to late Justice Oputa.Charly boy walked up angrily to the alter and snatched the microphone from Governor Okorocha and yelled at the Bishop for giving him the micro-phone to pay tribute to his father.A lot of people claimed Charly Boy decided to disgrace him,when Okorocha government allegedly said they gave his family N20million for his father's burial,which is far from the truth.Sources further claimed that Charly Boy has not said any thing concerning yesterday disgrace but the state government of Imo state have described the incident as ugly and regrettable,say Charley Boy is working for other political parties who are against Rochas administration.I would have preffered Charly Boy to have openly addressed the issue of the N20million than disrespecting a Governor and also causing a scen...

U.S,TO DECREASE THEIR SURVEILLANCE IN SEARCH OF THE MISSING CHIBOK GIRLS.

         The United States on Friday had decreased its surveillance flights in search for than 200 missing Chibok girls abducted in April by Islamist militants Boko Haram in Nigeria,but added that the over all effort was unchanged due to more flights by other countries.According to Rear Admiral John Kirby,Spokesman for the Pentagon,he said ''We don't have any better idea today than we did before about where these girls are,but there's been no letup of the effort itself''.If you ask me,is like the U.S is gradually pooling out from the search.What do you think?.                                                                                                                     ...
