 Russian forces to stay in Mali to fight terrorism: Kremlin The Kremlin said on Thursday that Russian forces would stay in Mali to help the country's government battle terrorists following an offensive over the weekend by Tuareg-led separatists and terrorists. Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov made the statement after being asked by a reporter how Russia responded to a purported statement from the terrorists saying they wanted Russia to leave Mali. "Russia's presence there is, in fact, due to the need identified by the current government. Russia will continue, including in Mali, to combat extremism, terrorism and other harmful phenomena and will continue to provide assistance to the current government," said Peskov, AFP reported. The Russian Defence Ministry had claimed on Tuesday that units of its African Corps prevented an attempted coup on April 25, 2026 in Mali. BOKO HARAM KILLED DOZENS OF PEOPLE TODAY IN ADAMAWA STATE IN FIVE DIFFERENT ATTACKS.

                 Today saturday,it was reported that suspected Boko Haram militants have killed dozens of people in five attacks in villages in Adamawa state that occurred after the government announced a ceasefire to enable 200 abducted  girls to be freed.Though the government cast doubt on whether the attacks really was Boko Haram or one of several criminal groups that are exploiting the chaos of the insurgency.In the first attack,suspected insurgents attacked the village of Abadam on friday night,killing at least one person and ransacking homes,while another assault on the village of Dzur today saturday morning,left at least eight people dead.Three other attacks in Adamawa state today saturday killed dozens of people.What is going on in these country?, because is just like somebody is somewhere trying to frustrate the peace between Boko Haram and the Federal government.One more picture below.             ...
