 October 1 protest: Ogun court restricts protesters to MKO Abiola Stadium, three other venues A High Court sitting in Abeokuta, Ogun State, has restricted members of the #FearlessInOctober protest groups in the state to the MKO Abiola Stadium in Abeokuta, Gateway International Stadium, Sagamu; Dipo Dina Stadium, Ijebu Ode, and Ansar-Ud-Deen Comprehensive High School, Ota. The court presided by Tajudeen. A.Okunsokan gave this order following an application brought by the Attorney-General of Ogun State in suit no AB/667/2024, and with Messers Afolabi Adeboye, Ifemosu Michael, Lekan Soneye (for themselves and members of the#FearlessInOctober protests); Bestman Okereafor (on behalf of the Progressive Students Movement), Francis Adeyanju (on behalf of the National Association of Nigerian Students) and Thomas Kehinde (on behalf of the National Association of Ogun Students), as respondents. EFCC DECLARES EMMANUEL OKEREKE EX-PRESIDENTIAL ASPIRANT,WANTED TODAY.

                 According to Wilson Uwujaren,Head of Media & Publicity of the EFCC said Emmanuel Osita Okereke,Director General of the National Task Force to Combat Illegal Importation of Samll Arms,Ammunition and Light Weapons NATFORCE,was declared wanted by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission EFCC for jumping bail.The jumping of bail is related to a case in November 21,2013 when he was arraigned in FCT High Court,Apo Abuja for allegedly forging a document of the Federal Government titled ''Restricted,Federal Government of Nigeria,National Task Force''.He allegedly falsely held public office as DG and Director FCT Command of National Task Force,through which along with Ishmeal Chinyere Nwogu,he fraudulently obtained mone from sale of employment forms.Justice Tukur had granted the request of his counsel Kanayo Okofar,requesting that he be granted bail.Okereke who was arrested with several incriminating items including bullet proof vests,has however jumped

                  Yesterday tuesday,91 year old Zimbabwe President,Robert Mugabe read out a wrong speech at the opening of parliament,an error which the main opposition quickly used to question whether he is of sound mind.Mugabe who is termed as the oldest ruler in Africa since 1980,delivered the same speech he gave on August 25,pinning his hopes on China t help revive Zimbabwe's struggling economy.Mugabe finished the speech without interruption and his spokesman blamed officials,adding that the president would read the correct speech at a later date.His spokesman George Charamba said ''The mix up happened in his secretarial office.Therefore the delivery in Parliament should be set aside''.But the main opposition Movement for Democratic Change {MDC},which is critical of Mugabe's long rule,said the blunder called into question his fitness to hold office.Mugabe shows no visible signs of illness and has denied reports that he suffers from prostate cancer,and he als

Joshua the founder of Synagoue Church of All Nations in Ikotun,reported the 25 suspects after he found out out they are extorting money and defrauding genuine worshipers.The suspects were arrested by the police and brought before Ejigbo Magistrate court today,to be arraigned but their arraignment was deferred following the absence of the magistrate.They were returned to the police station where they would be detained till thursday when they would be arraigned.It was gathered that the suspects and others now at large constituted themselves into agents,moving round the church both day and night soliciting for customers who will rent their apartments.It was learnt that the suspects allegedly defraud innocent worshipers who could not afford to secure the church accommodation because of the price.Since a guest house collapsed at the church on 12th of September 2014,worshipers have been finding it difficult to get accommodation.The suspected fake agents reportedly capit

                 Today wednesday,Governor Nasir El-Rufai of Kaduna state ordered the immediate closure of two churches,two schools and a hospital at Saminaka,Lere Local Government Area over brewing leadership crisis rocking the churches.The affected churches and missionary schools Theological Seminary of Northern Nigeria {TSNN},Saminaka:Shalom Comprehensive College,Assemblies of God Church,Nmbare,Saminaka,Assemblies of God church {Jerusalem},and AGC Evangelist Hospital.The state government noted that the leadership crisis had led to a break down of law and order in the churches,raised tensions between the followers of the rival camps and enveloped students of the church owned schools and seminary.A statement signed by the Special Assistant on Media and Publicity to the governor,Samuel Aruwan said the Kaduna State Security Council at its 15th meeting held at Sir Kashim Ibrahim Government House,deliberated on the leadership crisis in the Assemblies of God church in AGC Saminaka District,

                       There is a new hair accessory in town especially in China.In China,people have started wearing food designed hair accessory two weeks after flower/plants and bug hair piece were launched into the market,meaning that hair accessory fashion has already risen to another level.The latest popular hairpin designs include meat loaf,chicken wigs and sunny side up eggs.But there is one design that people are still really scared to try on,is the hairpin designed in a shape of a cockroach,people said it is creepy and scary.But they are not the first because i have a 100% gold mixed with pearl snail hair accessory in my personal jewelry collection for over 10 years now so am sure,they adopted the idea.My people what do you think,should the hair pin design stop or continue?.More photos below.
