 October 1 protest: Ogun court restricts protesters to MKO Abiola Stadium, three other venues A High Court sitting in Abeokuta, Ogun State, has restricted members of the #FearlessInOctober protest groups in the state to the MKO Abiola Stadium in Abeokuta, Gateway International Stadium, Sagamu; Dipo Dina Stadium, Ijebu Ode, and Ansar-Ud-Deen Comprehensive High School, Ota. The court presided by Tajudeen. MISS ANAMBRA,CHIOMA OBIADI STEPHANIE,CROWNED 40TH MISS NIGERIA.{PHOTOS}.

                        Chioma Obiadi Stephanie emerged the 40th Miss Nigeria at the Miss Nigeria pageant held at tthe Eko Hotel Convention & Suites,Victoria Island in Lagos.She is an undergraduate of Nnamdi Azikiwe U?niversity who studies Geology,she represented Anambra State at the competition.Following her win,she takes over from the outgoing queen ,Lessi Peter.Misss Chioma,who recently represented Nigeria this year at the Miss Earth beauty pageant in the Philippines,beat 36 other contestants to clinch the winning prize.Aside from the title,she also won an all-expense paid trip to France.Over  One thousand.beauty queen hopefuls entered for the Miss Nigeria pageant however only 37 made the final cut.The auditions were held in Abuuja,Port Harcourt,Enugu and Lagos State.More photos below.

               The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission yesterday arraigned one Joshua Dan-Daura before Honourable Justice Dije Abdu Aboki of the Kano State High Court on a one count charge of Obtaining by False Pretense.The accused person,a Deputy Suprintendent in the Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps allegedly obtained the sum of N450,000 {Four Hundred and Fifty Thousand Naira Only} from the complainant under the pretext of securing a job for the complainant at the {NSCDC}.The charge read that ''you Joshua Dan-Daura sometimes in March,in Twenty thirteen at Kano within the Judicial Division of the Kano High Court with intent to defraud obtain the sum of N450.000 {Four Hundred and Fifty Thousand Naira only} from one Yahaya Ibrahim Musa by falsely representing that you would help him secure a job with the Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps,a representation you knew to be false and you thereby committed an offense contrary to section Three hundred and twenty of
