 October 1 protest: Ogun court restricts protesters to MKO Abiola Stadium, three other venues A High Court sitting in Abeokuta, Ogun State, has restricted members of the #FearlessInOctober protest groups in the state to the MKO Abiola Stadium in Abeokuta, Gateway International Stadium, Sagamu; Dipo Dina Stadium, Ijebu Ode, and Ansar-Ud-Deen Comprehensive High School, Ota. The court presided by Tajudeen. A.Okunsokan gave this order following an application brought by the Attorney-General of Ogun State in suit no AB/667/2024, and with Messers Afolabi Adeboye, Ifemosu Michael, Lekan Soneye (for themselves and members of the#FearlessInOctober protests); Bestman Okereafor (on behalf of the Progressive Students Movement), Francis Adeyanju (on behalf of the National Association of Nigerian Students) and Thomas Kehinde (on behalf of the National Association of Ogun Students), as respondents. THE ONLY ITALIAN EBOLA PATIENT,IS NOW CURED FROM THE VIRUS.

                        59 year old Fabrizo,who was infected with the Ebola virus in Sierra Leone a month ago,where he worked as a doctor treating others stricken by the virus during the out break.He was flown to Rome his home country for further treatment.Now he has fully recovered  and he was discharged today from the hospital in Italy and he said to the press that ''For the first few days,partly to keep my mind active,i tried to examine every symptom i was experiencing scientifically.Then there came a moment when i lost consciousness of what was going on around me and i don't remember anything that happened for about a week.After i regain my strength,i might return to Siera Leone to continue treating Ebola patients''.I like his mind oh,to go back again and risk being infected.

36 PEOPLE DEAD AS TWO CULT GROUP,CLASHED IN BENIN CITY.

          According to sources,members of wo rival cult groups Eiye {Bird} and Aiye {Black Axe} confraternity,have been at war for several weeks in the in Benin city,resulting in the death of many them.The mortuary department of the Benin city specialist hospital,confirmed that 36 bodies were deposited there between 1st to 30th December 2014 following the clashes.The lingering cult clashes had worsened to the extent that four more people were killed at different locations in Benin city.A mortuary attendant who who spoke behind cameras to reporters said ''I am surprised that the police are saying only six deaths have been recorded.We are tired because as at the last count,it was 36.The last one that was brought to this morgue was so bad that his skull was opened into two parts.I could not eat when i got home''.

T.B JOSHUA,ORGANISED A CANDLE LIGHT SERVICE,FOR THE 116 THAT DIED IN THE BUILDING COLLAPSE.

                    Pastor T.B Joshua took the lead as he organized a candle light memorial service for the 116 people who died in the 12 September 2014 collapse at the Church of All Nation based in Lagos Ikotun.Though the Lagos state government has set up a Coroner panel to probe the building collapse but the  44 relatives of the 81 South African dead victims still attended the memorial services including others,raising their flags,to represent their various countries including Nigeria.More photos below.
