PSC PROMOTES OVER 8,000 POLICE OFFICERS. (PHOTO).

 PSC Promotes Over 8,000 Police Officers On Wednesday, the Police Service Commission (PSC) approved the promotion of 8,053 senior police officers. Earlier in the week, 11 Commissioners of Police were promoted to the rank of Assistant Inspectors General (AIGs), and 16 Deputy Commissioners of Police (DCPs) were elevated to the rank of Commissioners of Police (CPs). Additionally, 21 Assistant Commissioners of Police (ACPs) were promoted to DCPs, and 57 Chief Superintendents of Police (CSPs) moved up to Assistant Commissioners (ACPs). According to a statement by the PSC's spokesperson, Ikechukwu Ani, the total number of promotions included 1,348 Superintendents of Police (SPs) promoted to Chief Superintendents, 876 Deputy Superintendents of Police (DSPs) promoted to Superintendents, and 5,829 Assistant Superintendents of Police (ASPs) promoted to DSPs. EFCC TRACES N5BN PROPERTIES TO EX-PLATEAU GOV. JANG.{PHOTO}.#PRESS RELEASE.

      The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, has traced properties worth N500, 000,000 (Five Hundred Million Naira) only to former Plateau State governor, Jonah Jang. The properties are located at No. 8 and 9 Gobarau Road Unguwan Rimi GRA Kaduna State. Preliminary investigations revealed that the said properties were purchased from New Capital Properties Limited, a subsidiary of Northern Nigerian Development Company,  NNDC, Kaduna.It would be recalled that the EFCC on May 7, 2018 filed 12 count charges against the immediate past governor for an alleged fraud of about N6.3bn (Six Billion Three Hundred Million Naira). A serving Senator representing Plateau-North Senatorial District, Jang who is being prosecuted before a Plateau State High Court, allegedly embezzled some special funds released to the state by the Central Bank of Nigeria. 2 SUICIDE BOMBERS DIED AFTER THEY DETONATED A BOMB AND 5 CJTF ON DUTY INJURED YESTERDAY IN MAIDUGURI.{PHOTOS}.#PRESS RELEASE

        Suicide Bomber Incident. Two Suicide Bombers (Male and Female) on a mission to infiltrate Muna Garage Maiduguri, hurriedly detonated one of their suicide vests on siting troops of 195 Battalion on patrol at about 8 P.M on 1 December 2018. The patrol team quickly moved to the scene and discovered it was only the female suicide bombers’ vest that was detonated, killing herself and the male suicide bomber. Unfortunately, five members of Civilian Joint Task Force (CJTF ) on duty at the market were injured in the explosion. Subsequently, the area was cordoned off and the Explosive Ordinance Device Team were drafted to defuse the other unexploded vest, while Borno State Emergency Management Agency and the Red-cross evacuated the mutilated body parts of the suicide bombers. The wounded persons were rushed to 7 Division Hospital for medical attention. Pictures below.

      December 2 was designated Thanksgiving Sunday at Aso Villa Chapel, State House, Abuja. And what a rapturous event it was. Time to appreciate God for His goodness, love and mercy to Nigeria and Nigerians. Despite all the travails we passed through, Nigeria remains together. Oh, that men should praise the Lord, for His goodness and for His wonderful works to the children of men... Joining the thanksgiving service was former Head of State, Gen Yakubu Gowon, and his wife, Victoria. Vice President Yemi Osinbajo led the team of top government officials in attendance, and the message was given by Pastor Ezekiel Odeyemi, Assistant General Overseer, Redeemed Christian Church of God.More photos below.
