ANAMBRA LAW REVISION COMMITTEE SUBMITS REPORT TO ATTORNEY GENERAL. (PHOTOS). #PRESS RELEASE.

 *Anambra Law Revision Committee submits report to Attorney General* By Chinelo Okeke  Anambra State Law Revision Committee has submitted 'the Reviewed Laws of Anambra State' to the Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice of the state, Prof. Sylvia Ifemeje. The submission was done at the Attorney General's Chambers at the Ministry of Justice, Jerome Udoji Secretariat, Awka. Prof. Ifemeje on receiving the draft copy of the laws said, "it will be submitted to Mr. governor after which it will be transmitted to the House of Assembly. "This law will help in achieving the governor's promise of correct dispensation of justice and will remove clogs in the wheel of justice delivery which will help in achieving the governor's mandate." WHEN A MAN LOVES A WOMAN SINGER PERCY SLEDGE,DIES AT THE AGE OF 73 TODAY.

                                  East Baton Rouge parish,Louisiana Coroner Dr William Beau Clark,confirmed to the Associated press that musician Percy Sledge,died early tuesday morning.The news was also confirmed to ABC News by his agent of 35 years Steve Green,who said that the singer died after a long battle with cancer.He was best known for recording the 1966 classic ''When a man loves a woman'',that made number one hit.He was born in Leighton,Alabama on November 25,1941.His first recording took him from hospital orderly to a long touring career averaging 100 performances a year and an induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of fame in 2005.He released his last album ''The Gospel of Percy Sledge'',in 2013.More photos below.           

9 DEAD AS AL-SHABAAB MILITANTS,DETONATED A BOMB IN THE MINISTRY OF EDUCATION IN SOMALIA.

                             According to sources,at least 9 people have been confirmed dead today in an attack in Somalia's capital of Mogadishu.The attackers stormed the Ministry of Higher Education after one of the attackers detonated a vehicle at the gate of the ministry compound,opening the way for gunmen to enter.A tweet from the Editor of Somalia Newsroom says ''Once again Al-shabaab utilizes its suicide car bombs siege tactic in Mogadishu Education Ministry attack in Somalia.Police have also secured the building according to Capt Mohamed Hussen,a senior police officer.The attack is believed to have been carried out by Al-shabaab.African union forces were recently deployed to the building.The militant group Al-shabaab has admitted responsibility for the attack''.One more picture below.                                   ...
