 Taraba: Police Commissioner Calls for Peaceful Coexistence Between Herders and Farmers The Taraba State Commissioner of Police, Ukachi Peter Opara, has urged for greater peace and understanding between herders and farmers in the state. During a meeting with the leadership of the Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria (MACBAN) in Jalingo on Thursday, Opara highlighted the importance of dialogue and cooperation for long-term development. He emphasized that peaceful coexistence between these groups is crucial for their livelihoods and for fostering economic growth and stability in the state and the nation. Opara commended MACBAN for its readiness to collaborate with the police in promoting peace and security in Taraba. He reassured that the police would continue to work diligently to protect lives and property and pledged to leave no stone unturned in maintaining peace and stability in the state. PERMANENT VOTERS CARD COLLECTION,EXTENDED TO FEBRUARY 8-INEC.

                 The extension of the collection of the Permanent Voters Card {PVC}to February 8,2015 by the Independent National Electoral Commission,was confirmed yesterday sunday via a statement by Kayode Idowu,the Chief Press Secretary to the Chairman of INEC,Prof Attahiru Jega.Kayode Idowu said ''The February 8 deadline for the collection of the PVC's supersedes the earlier deadline of January 31,2015,announced by the commission.It is intended to give registered voters yet to collect their PVC,the opportunity to do so in readiness for the February 2015 general elections.INEC hereby calls on duly registered persons not to delay in going to collect their cards before the expiration of the new deadline.The commission reaffirms its determination to make the 2015 elections free,fair,credible and peaceful and urges all stakeholders,including voters,to spare no effort in working forward the same objective''.

91 INDIAN PRISONERS,ESCAPED FROM MEERUT PRISON,TODAY MONDAY.

              According to Om Prakask,a Superintendent of police in Meerut said a total of 91 inmates,including several convicted murderers,managed to flee the facility in Meerut overnight,although 35 prisoners have since been recaptured.''They removed an iron grille from a window at the back of the building while police were guarding the front.This was done so professionally that no one got a whiff''.The escape happened in Meerut,northern state of Uttar Pradesh.The police said those that are still on the run included inmates convicted of crimes such as murder,rape,theft and banditry.The breakout was staged between 1-3am today monday early morning and the alarm was only raised when officers who were patrolling near the centre spotted some of the fugitives trying to flag down public transport.One more photo below.

                                                        It was fun yesterday sunday 1st of February 2015,as me and every other friends of Barrister Yemisi David,who was my classmate in Lagos state University faculty of Law,threw her a surprise bridal shower.She is one person that plans every other persons surprise bridal shower so instead of us to use a venue,we used her house because if we use another venue,she might suspect that,that day is her bridal shower and the word surprise might not be new to her.Everybody wore pink mask,so when the bride walked into her living room,she was so confused who is behind each mask {French mask Bridal shower}.Yeah you might say it's a Lawyer's dominated party,but some of her childhood friends were invited and we got the numbers from her phone through the help of her fiancee and her younger sister Tayosi..We playe...
