 October 1 protest: Ogun court restricts protesters to MKO Abiola Stadium, three other venues A High Court sitting in Abeokuta, Ogun State, has restricted members of the #FearlessInOctober protest groups in the state to the MKO Abiola Stadium in Abeokuta, Gateway International Stadium, Sagamu; Dipo Dina Stadium, Ijebu Ode, and Ansar-Ud-Deen Comprehensive High School, Ota. The court presided by Tajudeen. A.Okunsokan gave this order following an application brought by the Attorney-General of Ogun State in suit no AB/667/2024, and with Messers Afolabi Adeboye, Ifemosu Michael, Lekan Soneye (for themselves and members of the#FearlessInOctober protests); Bestman Okereafor (on behalf of the Progressive Students Movement), Francis Adeyanju (on behalf of the National Association of Nigerian Students) and Thomas Kehinde (on behalf of the National Association of Ogun Students), as respondents.                               A very disturbing video made by the ISIS Islamic terrorist group in Iraq,shows them parading around 250 captured soldiers,matching through the desert in their underwear before they were executed.An Islamic state ighter claimed the men were from the Syrian government Tabqa Air Base which they seized on sunday,potentially handing them war planes,tanks,artillery and ammunition.The video which has not been independently verified,is too graphic to be published in full.It begins by showing dozens of men being marched through the desert wearing only their underwear.It then fades to black,resuming with a pile of blooded bodies stacked on top of one another.More photos below.                                                                

JOAN RIVERS,STOPPED BREATHING DURING A THROAT SURGERY IN MAHATTAN.#PRAY 4 HER#.

                  81 year old Joan Rivers is in a critical condition at a New York hospital after she stopped breathing during surgery on her throat.Someone called 911 at about 9:39am New York time today telling them that ''We have somebody in either cardiac or respiratory arrest''.She just suddenly stopped breathing during the procedure.The fashion police host was rushed to Mount Sinai hospital,where doctors are believed to be frantically trying to save her life.More photos below.                                                                                        

BRAD PITT AND ANGELINA JOLIE,FINALLY TIED THE KNOT AFTER 9 YEARS TOGETHER.

                   A spokesperson for the couple has confirm that Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie tied the knot this weekend in France,in the presence of their six children.Their secret wedding happened last saturday at Chateau Miraval,the property they bought in 2011.Angelina Jolie walked down the aisle with her eldest sons Maddox 13 years and Pax 10 years,on each arm,while her daughters Zahara 9 years and Vivienne 6 years threw petals.Shiloh 8 years and Knox 6 years,served as ring bearers.Prior to exchanging vows,the couple obtained a marriage license from a California judge.The same judge also conducted the non denomination civil ceremony in France.The secret wedding seems to have been a quite affair as Brad[s brother Doug Pitt,sister Julie Neal and their respective families weren't in attendance.More photos below.                                

ECOWAS ADVISES WEST AFRICAN COUNTRIES TO RE-OPEN THEIR BORDERS,END FLIGHT BANS AND APPLY CONTAINMENT MEASURES FOR EBOLA.

            According to the Economic Community of West African states said today thursday that West African states should re-open their borders and end flight bans put in place to halt the spread of Ebola.The ECOWAS countries and airlines will make their own decisions on flight bans and borders,but the view of the main regional body,expressed at a meeting of ECOWAS health Ministers in Ghana's capital,is likely to prove influetial.According to Ghana's President,who is the current Chairman said in the meeting that ''We must implement containment measures that will isolate or ostracise the affected countries.Excessive restrictions of travel and border closures will adversely affect the economies of the sub region''.

60 PEOPLE KILLED IN A CLASH THAT INVOLVED THE FULANI HERDSMEN IN NASARAWA STATE.

              According to the Nigerian police,Fulani herdsmen and farmers from the Eggon ethic group has left at least 60 people dead in a clash that happened on wednesday.Most people sustained machete cuts during the clash.The clash broke out yesterday in Narasawa state,a week after some Eggon villagers accused the Fulani herdsmen of stealing their cattles.According to Umaru Islamila a spokesman for the police said ''The report we have is 60 dead from the clash in Tudun-Ababu villiage.Some bodies were burned beyond recognition''.
