 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean. She also shared updates on her ongoing projects, including a new Broadway musical and her Dolly’s Life of Many Colors Museum in Nashville. GOVERNOR WIKE,INCREASED NYSC ALLOWANCE IN RIVERS STATE TODAY,BY N5,000.

                   Today wednesday,Governor of Rivers state Nyesom Wike speaking at the Rivers State National Youth Service Corps,NYSC headquarters in Port Harcourt,where he made the annoucement and from the pictures above,the Corp members were so happy about the increment after they lost one of their mates during the re-run election.Governor Wike increased their money by N5,000.He increased the monthly allowance of corps members serving outside Port Harcourt from N10,000 to N15,000.He also increased the state monthly allowance of corps members serving in Port Harcourt from N5,000 to N10,000.He also promised that the state government will immortalise slain corps member,Samuel Okonta,who was killed during the rerun parliamentary polls in Rivers.Governor Wike said ''The death of this corps member is unfortunate and condemnable.I urge the police to thoroughly investigate the crime.The outcome of the investigation should be made public so th...

FIFA NEW PRESIDENT ARRIVED SOUTH SUDAN TODAY,WHICH COINCIDED WITH HIS BIRTHDAY.

                        I just got a report that Fifa's new President Gianni Infantino is in South Sudan on his first international trip since taking over as the head of the world football organization last month.The trip also coincides with his birthday,and he plans to celebrate it by watching the world youngest nation play against Benin in an African Cup of Nations' qualifier.Gianni Infantino arrived in Juba today morning,where he opened the office of the South Sudanese Football Association.The FIFA chief is expected to meet South Sudan's President Salva Kiir later before attending the country's AFCON qualifier duel against Benin.South Sudanese officials dressed Infantino in traditional regalia and made him dance.The FIFA president was also presented with a cake by his hosts to celebrate his 46th birthday.More photos below.                             ...

                 An American woman who is known world wide to be the woman with the longest dreadlocks finds love with an African who also aspires to have the world record of a man with the longest dreadlocks.The womanmis identified as Asha Mandela,who met with Kenyan native Emmanuel Chege online who happens to be a hair dresser who spends at least two days in a week treating Asha's hair.Asha's dreadlocks measures 55ft in length.Asha and Chege got married after dating 8 months and have been married for 2 years now.Wow.More photos below.

LIBERIA CLOSED ITS BORDERS WITH GUINEA YESTERDAY,AFTER A MAN DIED OF EBOLA VIRUS YESTERDAY IN GUINEA.

                Yesterday tuesday a fifth person died of Ebola ever since it resurfaced 17th of  March in Guinea.According to Fode Sylla Tass,spokesman for National Coordination of the fight against Ebola in Guinea said that,the latest case was detected in Macenta Prefecture,about 200 kilometers from the village of Korokpara where the four other recent Ebols related deaths occurred.The man who has not been identified,had recently visited Korokpara and had been in direct contact with the first patients,.He was buried in the village of Makoidou without any sanitary precaution.Burials,where bodies of the deceased are often washed,have been a main cause of transmission of Ebola,which has killed at least 11,300 people in West Africa since 2013 in the worst outbreak on record.It was not immediately clear how the people from Korokpara had contracted the disease but the area had previously resisted efforts to fight the illness in the initial epidemic...
