PSC PROMOTES OVER 8,000 POLICE OFFICERS. (PHOTO).

 PSC Promotes Over 8,000 Police Officers On Wednesday, the Police Service Commission (PSC) approved the promotion of 8,053 senior police officers. Earlier in the week, 11 Commissioners of Police were promoted to the rank of Assistant Inspectors General (AIGs), and 16 Deputy Commissioners of Police (DCPs) were elevated to the rank of Commissioners of Police (CPs). Additionally, 21 Assistant Commissioners of Police (ACPs) were promoted to DCPs, and 57 Chief Superintendents of Police (CSPs) moved up to Assistant Commissioners (ACPs). According to a statement by the PSC's spokesperson, Ikechukwu Ani, the total number of promotions included 1,348 Superintendents of Police (SPs) promoted to Chief Superintendents, 876 Deputy Superintendents of Police (DSPs) promoted to Superintendents, and 5,829 Assistant Superintendents of Police (ASPs) promoted to DSPs.   Kaduna State paid a total of N236,839,948 (Two hundred and thirty six million, eight hundred and thirty nine thousand, nine hundred and forty eight Naira) to over 2000 students in the year 2020. This payment was made to successful bursary applicants for the 2017/2018 and 2018/2019 sessions studying across various Nigerian tertiary institutions. The payments were made in tranches as follows: 1. 273 students received N26,984,708 in January 2020 2. 855 students received N91,436,240 in February 2020 3. 822 students received N89,105,000 in March 2020 Although payments stopped as the country plunged into the Covid-19 induced lockdown, payments immediately continued afterwards as 273 students received N29,314,000 In November 2020.   Malam Nasir El-Rufai and Dr. Hadiza are welcoming a detachment of the Nigerian Army Women Corps that has been deployed to complement security patrols on the Kaduna-Abuja Expressway. Major-General US Mohammed, GOC 1 Division, has acknowledged the support KDSG provides to the military in its internal security operations. He thanked Malam Nasir Ahmad El-Rufai and Dr. Hadiza Balarabe for personally coming to receive the troops. The Governor and the Deputy Governor have expressed gratitude to the military for deploying the troops and assured them of the continued support of the Kaduna State Government as they work for security in the state.

They are 132-unit LagosHOMS projects at Iponri in Surulere area, and 84-unit Lekki Phase II housing project in Ikota, along Ajah corridor. The inauguration of the projects came four days after the Governor commissioned another 252-unit flats in Idale, Badagry.
