 October 1 protest: Ogun court restricts protesters to MKO Abiola Stadium, three other venues A High Court sitting in Abeokuta, Ogun State, has restricted members of the #FearlessInOctober protest groups in the state to the MKO Abiola Stadium in Abeokuta, Gateway International Stadium, Sagamu; Dipo Dina Stadium, Ijebu Ode, and Ansar-Ud-Deen Comprehensive High School, Ota. The court presided by Tajudeen. A.Okunsokan gave this order following an application brought by the Attorney-General of Ogun State in suit no AB/667/2024, and with Messers Afolabi Adeboye, Ifemosu Michael, Lekan Soneye (for themselves and members of the#FearlessInOctober protests); Bestman Okereafor (on behalf of the Progressive Students Movement), Francis Adeyanju (on behalf of the National Association of Nigerian Students) and Thomas Kehinde (on behalf of the National Association of Ogun Students), as respondents.                       Happy birthday to Pete Edochie as he celebrates his 67th birthday today 17th of march.The man is a man with nine life,after most people pronounced him dead in the past,but to their shame,he is still alive.He acted in Chinua Achebe's book THINGS FALL APART as Okonkwo,an NTA,adaptation,that single act brought him into lime light that also extended to his children.He was appointed a Director in esatern Nigeria Broad Casting Corporation.He retired as a broad caster in 1988.Uptill date,he still acts.I wish him,Long life and prosperity hiphip hurray.

           12 years a slave star,Lupita Nyong'o started in Shuga,a sexually charged MTV Africa soap opera in which she juggled two men.The 31 year old actress in the soap sleeps with her boss at Maverick Advertisng.The show's numerous steamy sex scenes proved a great way to raise HIV/AIDS awareness,and by the third part Ayira discovers she might have contrated the deadly disease.In 2010,Lupita said to CNN,''I think one thing Shuga is trying to do is talk about how HIV and AIDS is not a death sentence.HIV is a condition that can be managed,if one chooses to do so,if one catches it early on you can live a healthy life with HIV.I'v been able to be an Ambassador for HIV and AIDS.After wrapping the entire soap,Shuga cast even made a pact to all get tested for HIV together.More pictures below.
