PSC PROMOTES OVER 8,000 POLICE OFFICERS. (PHOTO).

 PSC Promotes Over 8,000 Police Officers On Wednesday, the Police Service Commission (PSC) approved the promotion of 8,053 senior police officers. Earlier in the week, 11 Commissioners of Police were promoted to the rank of Assistant Inspectors General (AIGs), and 16 Deputy Commissioners of Police (DCPs) were elevated to the rank of Commissioners of Police (CPs). Additionally, 21 Assistant Commissioners of Police (ACPs) were promoted to DCPs, and 57 Chief Superintendents of Police (CSPs) moved up to Assistant Commissioners (ACPs). According to a statement by the PSC's spokesperson, Ikechukwu Ani, the total number of promotions included 1,348 Superintendents of Police (SPs) promoted to Chief Superintendents, 876 Deputy Superintendents of Police (DSPs) promoted to Superintendents, and 5,829 Assistant Superintendents of Police (ASPs) promoted to DSPs.      In furtherance of its ongoing national offensive against perpetrators of cybercrime Operatives of the Cybercrime Section of the Abuja Zonal Office of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC on Tuesday September 24, 2019 raided the residences of suspected internet fraudsters at No 5 Arbe Saibra Dantata Estate Kubwa, Abuja. The operation was triggered by intelligence regarding the activities of the suspects who were placed under clos e surveillance for weeks. The suspects arrested are Aifuwa Aisosa, Desmond Imasuen, Usman Malik, Odiesen Ken, Odiase Emmanuel and Aifuwa Henry. Some of the items recovered from the suspects include mobile phones, laptop computers, and a Mercedes C350. In the same vein, the Advanced Fee Fraud section of the Abuja Zonal office on Thursday, September 26, arrested another cybercrime suspect, Mbaeri Anselm Chukwuma at David Estate, Gwarimpa. BUSINESSMAN DIES DURING SEX WITH LOVER IN LAGOS HOTEL YESTERDAY.{PHOTOS}.

               A 36-year-old man identified as Onyekachi Nwosu was found dead while having sex with his lover, Chima at a hotel in Aguda area of Surulere, Lagos State. The businessman started gasping for air shortly after he turned up for a short time rest at Alfredo Suites around 10pm with his lover. He was found dead after the hotel's manager and other staff rushed to the room he was after being alerted by Chima. The police officers from Aguda Police Division who visited the scene, arrested Chima alongside the Waitress, Mary who served the room 107 where the duo lodged. He has been in my Parish here in Warri Dioces for a while celebrating masses,baptizing children and wedding couples without the church knowing. He came in as a visiting priest whereas he is not.Since his identity was revealed,he had been on the run.We were told that he also visited other Parishes within the diocese and other dioceses.Please let's watch out and report to the police if seen anywhere''. This is serious,the Catholic Church should make it compulsory that any visiting Priest should come with a letter,and the Parish his coming from should contact the other parish his visiting before any visitation. EFCC ARRESTS FAKE JUMIA AGENT IN BENIN.{PHOTO}.#PRESS RELEASE.

       The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, has arrested Edoboryi Osaruese Leerees, 23, a fake Jumia agent in Benin City, Edo State. Leerees was arrested following a petition by a lady who claimed to have paid him over One Million Naira (N1,000,000) for the supply of goods which she and her friends ordered from his page online but never got the items. According to the lady, Leerees sent her a message on WhatsApp and told her he was an agent of Jumia and pledged with her to help him market his products which were on sales at 40% discount. When the lady saw how attractive the prices were, she and her two friends credited his accounts with the sum of One Million Naira (N1,000,000) and waited for the delivery of their goods. However, when days elapsed and the goods were not forthcoming, she went to Jumia office to make enquiry and discovered that Leerees was not an agent but a fraud and then decided to petition the EFCC after he refused to refund...

     The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, Benin Zonal Office has identified four properties for investigation as alleged proceeds of crime from two suspected fraudsters, Godspower Eleadi and Ohwerhi Ahmed, who are 'pickers' as they specialise in receiving money on behalf of internet fraudsters. The properties are a hotel, 2 completed houses and a building under construction. The Commission also reco vered four exotic cars from Eleadi and his accomplice, Ahmed who is currently on the run. Eleadi was arrested in his hideout in Sapele by operatives of the Commission. Eleadi modus operandi is to send his account details to would be victims of internet fraudsters to transfer their funds. Sometimes, he also solicit for buyers of foreign currency whose account he forward to would be victims of internet fraudsters.
