 Peter Obi lies like fish drinking water –Festus Keyamo Minister of Aviation, Festus Keyamo, has accused the 2027 Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) presidential candidate, Peter Obi, of deliberately fabricating claims regarding a recent airport incident. Speaking during an interview on Channels Television’s ‘Politics Today’ on Thursday night, July 30, Keyamo alleged that Obi lied about his experience at the airport to score political points. “That man was lying. He lies like a fish drinking water. He lies. He lies for fun,” Keyamo stated. The Minister noted that Obi had publicly complained of facing harassment from airport officials strictly due to his opposition status. "Did you know that adultery is a crime in Nigeria liable to 2 years in prison? This is according to Police PRO, Aliyu Giwa. But what he didn't make clear is that this only applies to Northern Nigerian states... LET'S BREAK IT DOWN PROPERLY  AduItery is a crime liable to two years imprisonment; Penal Code Law, section 387 & 388 - Police The Penal Code is applicable only in the States of Northern Nigeria, while the States of Southern Nigeria are governed by the Criminal Code.  Under the Criminal Code, which is applicable in the Southern States of Nigeria, Adultery is not a crime.  The reason for the dichotomy is because the Penal Code of the Northern Nigeria has contents which conforms to their Islamic Sharia Law or faith.
