 October 1 protest: Ogun court restricts protesters to MKO Abiola Stadium, three other venues A High Court sitting in Abeokuta, Ogun State, has restricted members of the #FearlessInOctober protest groups in the state to the MKO Abiola Stadium in Abeokuta, Gateway International Stadium, Sagamu; Dipo Dina Stadium, Ijebu Ode, and Ansar-Ud-Deen Comprehensive High School, Ota. The court presided by Tajudeen. A.Okunsokan gave this order following an application brought by the Attorney-General of Ogun State in suit no AB/667/2024, and with Messers Afolabi Adeboye, Ifemosu Michael, Lekan Soneye (for themselves and members of the#FearlessInOctober protests); Bestman Okereafor (on behalf of the Progressive Students Movement), Francis Adeyanju (on behalf of the National Association of Nigerian Students) and Thomas Kehinde (on behalf of the National Association of Ogun Students), as respondents. 4 BOKO HARAM KINGPINS,ARRESTED YESTERDAY BY THE NIGERIAN ARMY.

                   Troops of 3 Battalion,of 22 Task Force Brigade have made an unprecedented catch with the arrest arrest of 4 Boko Haram terrorists Ameers {kingpins} at Rann,headquarters of Kala Balge Local Government Area yesterday friday the 22nd of April 2016.The arrested kingpins specialized on various aspects of criminality to sustain the Boko Haram terrorists group in their areas.The four terrorists were arrested following a tip off by well meaning members of the public.Subsequently,the troops conducted a cordon and search operation in the general area that led to the apprehension of the terrorists leaders,who contribute to the sustenance of the insurgency through their illegal trade specialization.The arrested kingpins include Umara Mai Gyaran Rediyo {Radio Technician},Umaru Mai Nama,{who specialize in cattle rustling and sales},Alifa Makint {a specialist on stealing foodstuffs} and Balu Jugudum {in charge of stolen jewelleries}.Presently the suspects are undergoing interrogati

THE NIGERIAN ARMY,INTERCEPTED A SUICIDE BOMBER TODAY AT UMMARARI COMMUNITY.{PHOTOS}.

                                                              Troops of 7 Division Garrison Forward Operation Base {FOB},today averted yet another suicide bombing catastrophe on Ummarari community by suspected Boko Haram terrorists at about 7.000am this morning.The suicide bomber was intercepted by the vigilant troops and the Civilian JTF while making attempt to enter the village to detonate his dangerous cargo on innocent persons in Ummarari.The suicide bomber detonated the strapped Improvised Explosive Device {IED} vest on his body,thus killing himself instantly when he was forced to halt based on suspicion that he was carrying suicide bombing material.Thankfully,there was no any other casualty other than the suspected suicide bomber.Troops along with the Civilian JTF at the village are now combing the surrounding area to forestall further attacks and clear the environment of likely remnants of Boko Haram terrorists hibernating.-Colonel Sani Kukasheka Usman,Acting Director Army Publi

                       There is a gist going round watsapp and someone identified as Ijeoma forwarded this information to me.She wrote ''Please send this to all your contacts,it's very important.Chinese people have started producing corned beef with their dead bodies and sending them to Africa.Please stay away from corned beef irrespective of the brand,most especially in Africa and from Afro-Asian grocery shops''.I will like NAFDAC and other regulating bodies to look into these issue.
