 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean. She also shared updates on her ongoing projects, including a new Broadway musical and her Dolly’s Life of Many Colors Museum in Nashville.                Justice Ibrahim Buba of the Federal High Court in Lagos today monday,declared that it is unconstitutional to deploy military for the supervision of election without the approval of the National Assembly.The ruling of the court was sequel to a suit filed by Femi Gbajabiamila,a member of the House of Representatives representing Surulere Federal constituency 2,under the platform of All Progressives Congress,APC against President Goodluck Jonathan,Chief of Defence staff,Chief of Army staff,Chief of Air staff,Chief of Naval staff and the Attorney General of the Federation.In his argument,Seni Adio,Lawyer to the plaintiff,argued that there was an allegation and evidence that the military inhibited free movement,free access and intimidation of voters in of Osun,Ekiti,and Anambra state where the military were deployed during the governorship elections in those states.He also argued further that it is not ideal to deploy the military to sup...
