 Zamfara Governor’s Wife Facilitates Marriage for 100 Orphans, Offers Support to Grooms The wife of the Zamfara State Governor, Huriyya Dauda Lawal, has overseen the marriage of 100 orphaned girls in the state. The brides, who were well cared for prior to the ceremony, received full attention for their beautification. Each bride’s dowry, amounting to 151,000 Naira, was covered by the Governor’s wife. In addition, Huriyya Dauda Lawal provided essential household items, including furniture such as cushions, beds, wardrobes, mattresses, and kitchen utensils. Furthermore, she offered financial assistance of N50,000 to each groom to help them start their businesses and achieve self-sufficiency. Hajiya Lawal encouraged the brides to respect their husbands and practice patience. She also assured them that the Zakkat and Endowment Board would be available to offer support should any marital issues arise.

HORROR: Lady murdered over bread by husband. This is ADA Awka by name Ogochukwu Anene from umuokpu village Awka. She was married to one Mr Ndubisi Wilson Uwadiegwu from Enugu state who beat her to death and planning to burial her without informing her people properly.  Ogo was blessed with five children, 4 boys and a girl, the first son who is 14 years of age said the father use mirror 🪞 and beat the mom, because the mom asked him to buy bread 🍞 for them and he said he has no money, so when their mom used her money and got one loaf of bread the father went to the kitchen and finished the whole bread and when their mom went to him and asked him why he finished the whole bread without keeping any for the children, he beat to her death. Ogochukwu Anene was the senior prefect of Amenyi girls second school 2000 set. - Maria Ude Nwachi. More photos below.
