 "Enugu government has voted N10b for vehicle manufacturing programme that would see the state assemble vehicles" -Chris-Robert Ozongwu Enugu state Commissioner for budget and planning Chris-Robert Ozongwu has said that the government had voted N10b for vehicle manufacturing programme that would see the state assemble vehicles. 2,100 taxis are expected to be assembled for the administration’s youth empowerment scheme and the Distress Response Squad, DRS, the state’s special police unit. He also said that the government was confident that the 2026 budget would outperform the 2025 budget, adding that Governor Peter Mbah runs the state with a private sector mentality. He also said that the allocation of 51.1 per cent and 40.1 per cent of the total budget to the economic sector and social sector, respectively, underscored the administration’s commitment to private sector-driven economic growth and human development. HORROR: Lady murdered over bread by husband. This is ADA Awka by name Ogochukwu Anene from umuokpu village Awka. She was married to one Mr Ndubisi Wilson Uwadiegwu from Enugu state who beat her to death and planning to burial her without informing her people properly.  Ogo was blessed with five children, 4 boys and a girl, the first son who is 14 years of age said the father use mirror 🪞 and beat the mom, because the mom asked him to buy bread 🍞 for them and he said he has no money, so when their mom used her money and got one loaf of bread the father went to the kitchen and finished the whole bread and when their mom went to him and asked him why he finished the whole bread without keeping any for the children, he beat to her death. Ogochukwu Anene was the senior prefect of Amenyi girls second school 2000 set. - Maria Ude Nwachi. More photos below.
