 October 1 protest: Ogun court restricts protesters to MKO Abiola Stadium, three other venues A High Court sitting in Abeokuta, Ogun State, has restricted members of the #FearlessInOctober protest groups in the state to the MKO Abiola Stadium in Abeokuta, Gateway International Stadium, Sagamu; Dipo Dina Stadium, Ijebu Ode, and Ansar-Ud-Deen Comprehensive High School, Ota. The court presided by Tajudeen. A.Okunsokan gave this order following an application brought by the Attorney-General of Ogun State in suit no AB/667/2024, and with Messers Afolabi Adeboye, Ifemosu Michael, Lekan Soneye (for themselves and members of the#FearlessInOctober protests); Bestman Okereafor (on behalf of the Progressive Students Movement), Francis Adeyanju (on behalf of the National Association of Nigerian Students) and Thomas Kehinde (on behalf of the National Association of Ogun Students), as respondents.                   What on earth was this man thinking, when he decided to piece a whole bicycle through his mouth.Is like they are celebrating piecing day because if you look behind him,you will notice that some men also pierced their mouth..My only fear is that the bicycle don't tear his face into two.More ridiculous piecing below.                                                                                                                                                           

SARAKI,CONFIRMS TODAY THAT HE JUST RECEIVED THE MINISTERIAL LIST FROM BUHARI.

                     Yes ohh it is a good news indeed that Senate President Bukola Saraki,received the ministerial list today from President Muhammadu Buhari,a day to Nigerian independence.It was the Senate President himself that just confirmed the news through a tweet that reads ''I can now confirm that i just received #Thelist of Ministerial nominees''.The letter was delivered by Chief of Staff Malam Abba Kyari and Senator Ita Enang,the senior special assistant on National Assembly matters to President Buhari.The ministerial list was delivered to Saraki around 5:30 on thursday.Thank God for this piece of good news.

NIGERIAN BROWN & WHITE BEANS,BANNED BY THE EUROPE FOOD SAFETY AUTHORITY.

                  Nigerian brown and white beans,banned by the Europe Food Authority.They banned the importation of the beans from Nigeria due to concerns over high levels of pesticides.The Authority also released a warning over the quality of the sesame seeds,melon seeds,palm oil and dried fish.However Nigeria's stake holders in the industry believe that this step will encourage policy reforms in Nigeria but the ban spells hard times for local farmers and grain sellers in Nigeria.More photos below.                                   

THE HEAD OF THE OPPOSITION PARTY ''MSD'',WAS ASSASSINATED YESTERDAY IN BURUNDI.

              Today wednesday,it was confirmed by Burundi authorities,unidentified gunmen have killed an opposition party official in Burundi's Muramvya province.Muramvya Governor Emmanuel Niyungeko said Jean Baptiste Nsengiyumva,the head of the opposition MSD party in a district of the province,was killed yesterday Tuesday night.He said ''We strongly condemn this assassination aimed at disturbing security in the province.We ask the population to strengthen security in their neighborhoods.We also call on those who illegally posses arms to hand them''.

PRESIDENT BUHARI,TO ADDRESS NIGERIANS TOMORROW INDEPENDENCE DAY.

                                          Tomorrow thursday that is Nigerian independence day October 1st,President Muhammadu Buhari will mae a nationwide broadcast as part of the programme of activities to mark Nigeria's 55th independence Anniversary.The broadcast will take place at 7:00 am.According to a statement by Femi Adesina,Buhari's media aide said ''All electronic media stations are kindly requested to join the network services of the Nigerian Television Authority {NTA} and the Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria {FRCN} for the broadcast''.

MEET THE NIGERIAN LITTLE GIRL ''UGOCHI'',THAT WILL FEATURE IN THE NEW CBEEBIES ''NINA AND THE NEURONS'' IN UK.

                                                             I am not a child but i watch Nina and the Neurons alot on DSTV BBC C,306 while in Glasgow United Kingdom on channel 614 and 624 CBeebies tuesday by 4:30pm.In order to raise fund for children in need,Whiteinch Primary School,Glasgow,Scotland organised a Talent show.A lot of people {almost 130 pupils} auditioned and the Nigerian child identified as 6 year old Ugochi Ikerionwu,the daughter of Dr Charles and Uloaku Ikerionwu,an indigene of Isiala Mbano,Imo state,won the talent show.It will be aired today in Glasgow.She is so sharp and cute,i am very proud of her.More behind the scene photos below.
