APPLE'S STATEMENT ON MINERALS MUST BE 'VERIFIED'-DRC. (PHOTO).

 Apple's statement on minerals must be 'verified': DRC International lawyers for the Democratic Republic of Congo welcomed Apple's decision to stop sourcing minerals from there due to worsening conflict, but said they would press ahead with their cases against the company in Europe. Criminal complaints were filed against Apple subsidiaries in France and Belgium this week on behalf of DR Congo, accusing the tech firm of using conflict minerals in its supply chain, Reuters reported. DR Congo is a major source of tin, tantalum and tungsten, so-called 3T minerals used in computers and mobile phones. But some artisanal mines are run by armed groups involved in massacres, rapes and other crimes, say UN experts and rights groups. 'Satisfaction and caution' Apple said on Tuesday that it strongly disputes the claims and has told suppliers they must not use the minerals in question sourced from DR Congo or Rwanda.                         32 year old X Factor judge Cheryl Fernandez-Versini,was photographed by a fashion journalist in a bathroom at the London Coliseum,where she was one of the many star guests at the 2015 British fashion Awards.The photograph pictured reflection from a mirror where she is washing her hands,but in front of her and slightly to the side are the three lines of a white substance,suspected to be cocaine.The photograph was shared on Instagram by a fashion journalist at the awards ceremony,along with the caption ''Sadness in her eyes''.The picture was later removed from the writer's timeline.Sources claimed that Cheryl was entirely unaware of th lines of cocaine,which appears to have been left by a previous guest who also made use of the bathroom.Cheryl has now begun with legal action to stop the photograph in question from circulating.A legal notice has been sent around to prohibit the publication of the photograph...

             According to the Federal Road Safety Corps {FRSC},who reported on their official website that few hours ago a keke napep is on fire on Apo Bridge in Abuja,though nobody was reportedly hurt and for now nobody knows how the fire started.Mean while,the Independent National Electoral {INEC} today tuesday asked the All Progressives Congress {APC} to pick a new candidate as replacement for late Prince Abubakar Audu in order to continue with the supplementary election.The supplementary election will hold December 5.More photos below.                                                                

18 PEOPLE DIED TODAY,AFTER A FIRE OUTBREAK IN A REFUGEE CAMP IN SOUTHERN ALGERIA.

                       Today tuesday it was reported that at least 18 people died and 37 others were injured when a fire broke out at a camp for African refugees in Southern Algeria.The victms of the fire were among 650 Africans being taken in at the camp in the Ourgla province,about 500 km {310 miles} from the capital Algiers.Algeria has started repatriating hundreds of refugees from Niger under an agreement reached with their government.One of their state media said an investigation by security services was still underway to determine causes behind the incident.No details were immediately available about the nationalities of the victims.One more photo below.
