 Catholic priest reportedly klled in Kogi  A Catholic priest, Rev. Fr. Samuel Opeyemi Oyetoro, has been reportedly killed by unknown assailants in Ajaokuta, Kogi State. According to reports, the priest was stabbed multiple times along Ajaokuta road on Wednesday, 29th July 2026. His body was found dumped at the roadside.  Rev. Fr. Oyetoro was born in Egbe, Yagba West Local Government Area of Kogi State and a native of Ayetoro in Ijumu Local Government Area.  Until his death, he served as a priest at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Egbe.                 According to Issa Bakary,Spokesman for the Cameroon government,said today tuesday in Yaounde that ''The insurgents were killed after they attacked a military camp in Kolofata,in the north of Cameroon.The battle ended after the army bombed the attackers,forcing them to retreat to the Nigerian border.The army however lost  one soldier during the battle''.
