 October 1 protest: Ogun court restricts protesters to MKO Abiola Stadium, three other venues A High Court sitting in Abeokuta, Ogun State, has restricted members of the #FearlessInOctober protest groups in the state to the MKO Abiola Stadium in Abeokuta, Gateway International Stadium, Sagamu; Dipo Dina Stadium, Ijebu Ode, and Ansar-Ud-Deen Comprehensive High School, Ota. The court presided by Tajudeen. A.Okunsokan gave this order following an application brought by the Attorney-General of Ogun State in suit no AB/667/2024, and with Messers Afolabi Adeboye, Ifemosu Michael, Lekan Soneye (for themselves and members of the#FearlessInOctober protests); Bestman Okereafor (on behalf of the Progressive Students Movement), Francis Adeyanju (on behalf of the National Association of Nigerian Students) and Thomas Kehinde (on behalf of the National Association of Ogun Students), as respondents.               It has come to our knowledge that alot of women are getting married in these manner,whereby the man will be absent and his bride will be getting married alone with his picture.How normal can you call these type of marriage and what is so important that will make the man miss his own marriage/wedding?.I know there is a high number of single women out there,but i believe in life when you are entering a man's house,you should enter it with dignity and not by any how means or by crook.If you ask me,the man's family can come and marry me traditionally but in a quiet ceremony but when it comes to the white wedding or court wedding,where-ever the man is,the woman should travel and go and meet the man.If the man can be absent in all the wedding ceremonies,he can also be absent in the life of your children and you for the rest of your life.By marrying him through the picture,to me is like marrying a dead man.Women be wise and more photos below.

UNKNOWN GUNMEN OPEN FIRE IN FRONT OF THE NIGER REPUBLIC EMBASSY IN CAIRO,KILLING 1 GUARD.

                                                                  According to the Egyptian interior ministry,they said in a statement that Unidentified gunmen shot dead a security guard outside the Niger embassy in Cairo early today wednesday morning.The gunmen in a car opened fire on guards outside the embassy of the Western African republic at around 1:am.Security services were still searching for the perpetrators.There was no immediate claim of responsibility for the attack in Giza which is part of the greater Cairo metro area.This terrorist attack is getting out of hand all around the world,i just pray that there will be a lasting solution.

FREE REGISTRATION FOR MOTORCYCLE,TRICYCLE ETC TO COMMENCE 1ST OF AUGUST IN ANAMBRA STATE.

                  From the 1st of August,the Anambra state Government will commence free registration and issuance of identity cards for all commercial and private motorcycles and vehicles as well as boats and canoes operating in the state.In a statement issued by Dr {Mrs} Uju Nwogu,Hon.Commissioner for Information,Culture and Tourism,the state government will also commence the free distribution of branded bibs or vests to all motorcycle riders and life jackets to all commuters using boats and canoes as means of transport in the riverine communities of the state.Venue for the registration is headquarters of 21 local government areas of the state..''Government wishes to use the opportunity of this announcement to inform the public particularly commercial and private motorcycle operators that the order on compulsory use of crash helmet is still in force.The use of life jackets and vests is also compulsory for all commuters using canoes and boats as means of transport .Government

                                             The incident happened on friday at about 7:am in Lemode area of Ogun state.The baby Zainab Olajide who was 41 days old has been poisoned by her own father identified as Kazeem Olajide,in attempt to divorce his wife.According to sources,the mother Abosede Ogundare,had left Zainab with Kazeem to sweep the compound only to come back and met the baby with foams gushing out from her mouth.It was learnt that Ogundare alerted neighbours to the incident having found a bottle containing pesticide with her husband.The baby Zainab was said to have been rushed to a hospital in the community,where she eventually died.The suspect,who hails from Abeokuta,Ogun state,attempted to flee,but was held by residents,while the landlord of the house reported the case to the monarch of the community,Oba Solomon Sokunbi.It was gathered that the father was handed over to the policemen at the Agbado Police Division after he confessed to the crime before the monarch.A re

AN 8 YEAR OLD CHILD ZION HARVEY,IS THE FIRST CHILD IN THE WORLD TO RECEIVE A DOUBLE HAND TRANSPLANT.

               According to sources,an eight year old boy has become the very first child in the world to receive a successful double hand transplant.Zion Harvey suffered from a very serious bacteria infection when he was a toddler and his hands and feet had to be amputated.He was very happy and optimistic after going through surgery and had plans to throw football,climb monkey bars and hold his baby sister.According to Sky News,a 40 person surgical team used steel screws and plates to fuse together Zion's old and new bones before delicately reconnecting his muscles,nerves,tendons,veins and arteries.After several weeks on physical therapy,the doctors said he would be able to pick up smaller objects like Cheerios and Legos.Before his transplant,Harvey was able to feed himself and play video games as well.The boy is now required to take drugs which suppress the immune system for the rest of hi life to ensure his body does not reject his new limbs.Doctors believed he was an ideal cand
