CABLE VANDALISM: SUSPECT CAUGHT IN ABIA COMMUNITY. (PHOTO).

Abia State Community Policing Vigilante has arrested an electric cable thief, simply identified as Samuel, while vandalizing power installations along Isi Court-Ikputu road in Isiala Ngwa area. While two out of the three thieves escaped with their operational tricycle, the leader of the syndicate identified as Samuel, from Ebonyi State was apprehended by the Community Policing Vigilante. The arrest of the suspect was made known by the Commander of Abia State Community Policing Vigilante in the area, K.C. Martins. Martins, who said that efforts have been intensified by his men to arrest the two fleeing members of the criminal gang, commended Governor Alex Otti’s administration’s determination protecting the lives and property of the people in the State. SOME PRISONERS ESCAPED TODAY,AFTER A PRISON VAN RAMMED INTO A TRUCK ALONG BADAGRY EXPRESSWAY.

                         Today wednesday,around 7:00am at Beyuf Bus Stop on the Badagry Expressway Lagos,some prisoners who had were taken to court escaped after a long bus belonging to the Nigerian Prisons Service {NPS} rammed into a Stationary truck.It was learnt that several persons sustained injuries and as the prison officers were trying to calm nerves,many of the inmates were said to have fled.An official of the Federal Road Safety Corp {FRSC} who pleaded anonymity told pressmen that the headlamp of the NPS was not bright and the driver did not see the stationary vehicle in good time.He alleged that the occupants of the bus were trapped inside for for hours before the arrival of some people.''It rammed into the back of the truck headlong.Those inside the bus were trapped for sometime before one of the officials opened the door to allow rescuers carry out emergency work.Amidst the concussion,some of the prisoners were...

AMBODE ORDERS SECURITY AGENCIES,TO USE APPROPRIATE FORCE TO CLAMPDOWN ON VANDALS,CULTISTS ETC

POLICE IN NIGER STATE,ARRESTED 2 SUSPECTED KIDNAPPERS ON MONDAY.

                      On monday the  15th  of February at 2:30 pm in Niger state,the anti-kidnapping squad based at Makera/Mokwa axis arrested two suspected kidnappers at Daja Market Square via Ibbi in Madhegu Local Government Area.The suspects are,Abdul Bendel,of Kanya village and Isah Ibrahim,of Daja village,both in Mashegu LGA of Niger state.The duo has been fingered by previously arrested kidnapping suspects already in Police custody.Investigation in Progress.On that same  15th of February at  1 1:00 am  ,policemen in River state foiled an attempt by unidentified gun men to kidnap an expatriate at Egovi Community of Rivers state.The hoodlums managed to escape but the victim was rescued unhurt.Investigation is still on going.One more photo below.
