  Imo Governor Issues 72-Hour Ultimatum to Remove Tints from Commercial Vehicles Imo State Governor Hope Uzodinma has given commercial drivers operating vehicles with tinted glasses a 72-hour ultimatum to remove them or face severe legal consequences, according to a press release issued by his Chief Press Secretary and Special Adviser on Media, Oguwike Nwachukwu. The directive, announced on Wednesday, aims to curb the rising use of tinted commercial vehicles, particularly buses, in criminal activities such as kidnapping, armed robbery, and hit-and-run incidents across the state. Nwachukwu stated that intelligence reports linked these vehicles to the surge in such crimes, prompting the governor’s order. Governor Uzodinma has instructed law enforcement agencies to work with government officials to enforce the directive, clamping down on non-compliant drivers once the deadline expires. “All bus drivers operating with tinted glasses have 72 hours to remove them or face the full weight ...

3 CLEARING AGENT & A MOTORCYCLE DEALER,CAUGHT WITH HARD DRUGS.

                                                                                                 NDLEA,National Drug Law Enforcement Agency,have arrested three customs licensed clearing and forwarding agents and a motorcycle parts dealer for alleged involvement in drug trafficking.Today thursday,the suspects were being interrogated in connection with threee shipments of methamphetamine,ment for export to Malaysia on an Ethiopian Airways flight at the Mutarla Muhammed international Airport in Lagos.The 70.4kg drug has been estimated at N352million street value.The three agents are,Adewuyi Segun,45 years,Atebata Godwin,27 years and Akpaida Kareen Ajayi,33 years.The motorcycle dealer from Nnewi Anambra state,Ukpabi Paul,was also arrested.More photos...

BOXING DAY GHASTLY ACCIDENT AT SAGAMU ROAD.

           Three persons,two male and one female were confirmed dead in a boxing day road Abeokuta,and it happened today.The accident occured about 5pm today.It involved a commercial bus and a Nissan urvan.The accident happened at Soowo town,near Kobape,in Obafemi Owode Local government area of Ogun state.The bus belonged to the Road Transport Employers Association,Nigeria,RTEAN.The vehicle was coming from Ibadan and it was going to Sango Ota and it decided to pass through Abeokuta,so as to aviod some grid lock on the road .The accident was caused by over speeding as the driver lost control when the tyre burst.The vehicle somesaulted and crossed the median.Apart from the three persons who died,eight other persons,made up of six male and two female were seriously injured.
