 October 1 protest: Ogun court restricts protesters to MKO Abiola Stadium, three other venues A High Court sitting in Abeokuta, Ogun State, has restricted members of the #FearlessInOctober protest groups in the state to the MKO Abiola Stadium in Abeokuta, Gateway International Stadium, Sagamu; Dipo Dina Stadium, Ijebu Ode, and Ansar-Ud-Deen Comprehensive High School, Ota. The court presided by Tajudeen. A.Okunsokan gave this order following an application brought by the Attorney-General of Ogun State in suit no AB/667/2024, and with Messers Afolabi Adeboye, Ifemosu Michael, Lekan Soneye (for themselves and members of the#FearlessInOctober protests); Bestman Okereafor (on behalf of the Progressive Students Movement), Francis Adeyanju (on behalf of the National Association of Nigerian Students) and Thomas Kehinde (on behalf of the National Association of Ogun Students), as respondents. OBASANJO WELCOMED BY GOV.AMAECHI IN PORT-HARCOURT.

                                           Once a president is always a president.One will think Obasanjo is still the current president of Nigeria but non the less,he is an ex.He was welcomed by Governor Amaechi,senators and members of the state executive council.Members of various communities where Obasanjo would commission projects line up the routes of the convoy,causing very heavy traffic.There was tight security as armed forces personnel and police were deployed all over.He first commissioned Chief G.U Ake road{Airforce link road}.Other projects to be commissioned include,Songhai Integrated farm at Bunu-Tai,Ogoni land,Afam power station in Afam,Buguma fish farm and about 300 primary and secondary school and health centres.Amaechi's administration had rejected the idea of commissioning projects,but has been forced to reverse that policy because he said the opposition has accused him of non performance.Obansanjo was invited to commission the projects because during the Port-Har

YANG JINHAI,OFFERED HIMSELF AS A MEAL TO TIGER'S IN A ZOO.

           Yang Jinhai,was saved by a zoo keeper when he offered himself as a meal to the tigers in Chengdu zoo.He claimed he wanted to improve the lives of caged tiger.Yang posted several online messages about how optimistic he was about getting a job as a security guard in Chengdu in south west china's Sichuan province but he quickly found the job boring and monotonous and moved instead to a job in a printing factory where he also then resigned,saying that he felt there was more to life.After going to the zoo,he wrote how depressing it was to see the noble and magnificent tigers living in such humble surroundings,where they were caged and unable to follow their natural instincts to hunt and kill.He then announced that he had decided to sacrifice himself in other to provide the Bengal tigers with support.He climbed up the outside of the cage and jumped inside expecting that the tigers would pounce on him.Instead the two tigers,a male and female,seemed more nervous than anything el
