PSC PROMOTES OVER 8,000 POLICE OFFICERS. (PHOTO).

 PSC Promotes Over 8,000 Police Officers On Wednesday, the Police Service Commission (PSC) approved the promotion of 8,053 senior police officers. Earlier in the week, 11 Commissioners of Police were promoted to the rank of Assistant Inspectors General (AIGs), and 16 Deputy Commissioners of Police (DCPs) were elevated to the rank of Commissioners of Police (CPs). Additionally, 21 Assistant Commissioners of Police (ACPs) were promoted to DCPs, and 57 Chief Superintendents of Police (CSPs) moved up to Assistant Commissioners (ACPs). According to a statement by the PSC's spokesperson, Ikechukwu Ani, the total number of promotions included 1,348 Superintendents of Police (SPs) promoted to Chief Superintendents, 876 Deputy Superintendents of Police (DSPs) promoted to Superintendents, and 5,829 Assistant Superintendents of Police (ASPs) promoted to DSPs. EX-BURUNDI MINISTER 'HAFSA MOSSI',SHOT DEAD TODAY BY UNKNOWN GUNMEN.{PHOTOS}.

                            According to CCTV,former Burundi's East African Community {EAC} Minister Hon Hafsa Mossi was shot dead by unknown assailants today wednesday morning outside her home in Eastern Mutanga in Bujumbura.A close relative said ''She was near her home and a tinted car knocked her from behind,she went out to see what happened and was shot twice''.Ms Mossi played a crucial role in Burundi's integration into the EAC and was the current chair of the East African Legislative Assembly Burundi chapter.Mossi is the first Burundi East African Community minister and had been conducting sensitization workshops with the East African Legislative Assembly {EALA} Burundi chapter with different stakeholders at the grassroots level on the benefits of the East African Integration to Burundi.Mossi's killing is part of targeted killings of top government officers by unknown armed groups in the East African nation.Over...
