 October 1 protest: Ogun court restricts protesters to MKO Abiola Stadium, three other venues A High Court sitting in Abeokuta, Ogun State, has restricted members of the #FearlessInOctober protest groups in the state to the MKO Abiola Stadium in Abeokuta, Gateway International Stadium, Sagamu; Dipo Dina Stadium, Ijebu Ode, and Ansar-Ud-Deen Comprehensive High School, Ota. The court presided by Tajudeen. A.Okunsokan gave this order following an application brought by the Attorney-General of Ogun State in suit no AB/667/2024, and with Messers Afolabi Adeboye, Ifemosu Michael, Lekan Soneye (for themselves and members of the#FearlessInOctober protests); Bestman Okereafor (on behalf of the Progressive Students Movement), Francis Adeyanju (on behalf of the National Association of Nigerian Students) and Thomas Kehinde (on behalf of the National Association of Ogun Students), as respondents. SOME EGYPTIAN POLICE WERE WOUNDED TODAY,AFTER A BOMB EXPLODED IN THE PROCESS OF DEFUSING IT.

                            Today friday in Egypt,four people including two policemen were wounded when a bomb they were trying to defuse exploded in Cairo near the pyramids.Two policemen and two hotel security guards were wounded in the blast outside the Meridien hotel near the Giza pyramids.A security source said ''The explosion critically wounded one of the policemen''.In another part of Egypt today,a police officer was killed and three were wounded in the North Sinai town of El-Arish when a road side bomb exploded as they drove past in an armored vehicle,the interior ministry said in a statement.One more photo below.

                                     19 year old Kendall Jenner said she is selling her old cloths and accessories on eBay to raise money for charity.Kendall Jenner put 30 designer pieces from her wardrobe on the site and prices ranges from 19 cents to $700.According Kendall Jenner who posted on her social media that a portion of the money raised will be donated to the children's Hospital in Los Angeles.Her sisters Kim,Kourtney and Khloe have been doing the same for years,though their charities are different.Kendall Jenner said the bidding will end on the 1st of of Novermber 2015.If you ask me,i prefer celebrities donating to charity without the press knowing about it,and they should not be relying on their old stuffs to raise money.That is my own view.More photos below.                                                                                                                                                  

1 WEEK AFTER SOUTH AFRICAN STUDENTS STARTED PROTESTING,JACOB ZUMA STOPPED THE INCREMENT OF FEES TODAY.

                             Today friday,thousands of angry South African students protesting against plans to raise fees next year tried to pull down a fence surrounding government building housing President Zuma's office.The students,who chanted slogans,argued with police who had earlier set up guard ahead of a scheduled address by Zuma.Though Jacob Zuma had ruled out the university fee increase next year after a week of angry protests.Police fired rubber bullets,tear gas and stun grenades at students who hurled rocks and lit fires on the grounds of Union Buildings,where the government has it s offices in Pretoria,demanding Zuma to come outside and address them.But security officials feared for Zuma's safety,and Zuma remained inside,making the fee freeze announcement to the media instead.Zuma said after meeting in private with students leaders and university management saying ''On the matter at hand we agreed that there will be a zero increase of university fees in 2

THERE WAS A BOMB BLAST IN A NEWLY OPENED MOSQUE TODAY,IN YOLA.

                  Today friday,it was reported that around 2:00pm today,a bomb exploded at a newly opened friday mosque in Jambutu area of Yola in Adamawa state.The suicide bomber detonated shortly after the Imam of the mosque concluded reading the sermon for the Juma'at prayer.Sources claimed it was a young boy who attempted to get into the mosque when the explosive went off.''It's a new friday mosque,this is the first friday prayer to be offered in the mosque.Over 100 people have so far been evacuated to hospital but i can't say how many among them are dead''.The Police spokesman in the state,DSP Othman Abubakar and the Executive Secretary,Adamawa State Emergency Management Agency {ADSEMA},Alhaji Haruna Furo,confirmed the incident and said rescue effort was still going on.They said that the number of casualty was yet to be ascertained.''We are now evacuating those affected to Yola Specialist Hospital and Federal Medical Centre''.One more ph
