 October 1 protest: Ogun court restricts protesters to MKO Abiola Stadium, three other venues A High Court sitting in Abeokuta, Ogun State, has restricted members of the #FearlessInOctober protest groups in the state to the MKO Abiola Stadium in Abeokuta, Gateway International Stadium, Sagamu; Dipo Dina Stadium, Ijebu Ode, and Ansar-Ud-Deen Comprehensive High School, Ota. The court presided by Tajudeen. A.Okunsokan gave this order following an application brought by the Attorney-General of Ogun State in suit no AB/667/2024, and with Messers Afolabi Adeboye, Ifemosu Michael, Lekan Soneye (for themselves and members of the#FearlessInOctober protests); Bestman Okereafor (on behalf of the Progressive Students Movement), Francis Adeyanju (on behalf of the National Association of Nigerian Students) and Thomas Kehinde (on behalf of the National Association of Ogun Students), as respondents. A DRY CLEANER IN SURULERE,STABBED HIS NEIGHBOUR 7 TIMES TO DEATH.

               According to the Nigerian police,a man named Sunday Mitten who is specialized in drycleaning cloths,went beseck and stabbed one of his neighbours to death and wounded others.His wife narrowly escaped death as she was also stabbed twice.She is now receiving treatment at an undisclosed hospital.Two other stabbed neighbors are also receiving treatment at undisclosed hospitals following injuries they sustained.The man that was stabbed to death is identified as Sunday George who was stabbed seven times by his name sake Sunday Mitten.Vigilante group i the area {20 Oshinfowokan street,Ehiniga area} prevented Sunday Mitten from stabbing more people.Eye witnesses said on sunday,Sunday Mitten suddenly wokeup at about 1:30am,stripped himself naked and attempted to move out of his room.

REBELS IN CENTRAL AFRICAN REPUBLIC,BLOCKED THE KEY HIGHWAYS IN THEIR COUNTRY.

                 According to some witnesses who preferred to remain anonymous said Seleka rebels in Central African Republic,blocked two highways through the capital Bangui today thursday and exchanged gunfire with the U.N peacekeepers.The fighters,based at the camp Beal in Bangui since their leader ceded power to a transitional government in January,were protesting at a plan to relocate some of their ranks to a southern province to improve security in the capital.
