CHARLIZE THERON COVERS ELLE MAGAZINE,MAY 2018 EDITION.{PHOTOS}.

Image
There’s an element of warfare to   Tully , Charlize Theron’s second outing with   Young Adult   director Jason Reitman and screenwriter   Diablo Cody . In it, Theron plays Marlo, an overwhelmed and over-it pregnant mother of two. Her Waterloo: the birth of her third child. As she plunges into staggering depths of exhaustion, Marlo faces down opponents familiar to so many mothers: an ineffectual partner, moody daughter, and differently abled son (and a school system that fails him); scarce funds for child care; and a postpartum body—heavy, leaking, and unwieldy—that’s no longer her own. Relief comes in the form of the titular night nurse, Tully, gifted to Marlo by her wealthy brother, and perhaps too good to be true. Theron, who adopted her two children—Jackson (Jacks), six, and August (Auggie), two—gained 35 pounds for the part. And not since her Oscar-winning turn as Aileen Wuornos in  Monster  has the 42-year-old been more u...

The unbelievable has happened in Nsit Ubium Local government area of Akwa Ibom State as a man killed his mother by beating her up. Just take a look at the lifeless innocent mother who have not enjoyed life at all, look at where she lives, it's glaring she didn't have education so she ran petty business to raise this idiot and worthless son who has done nothing for his mother. Below is what he shared online; (unedited) "Down here if your 10years old boy apprentice misbehaves or disobeys you, you can choose to emulate 'that master' and quickly burst his head. Cracked skull and torn scalp everywhere. I was returning from an evening walk, when I saw this little boy in a chemist (patent medicine) shop. The boy was bleeding from the scalp. The chemist was busy bandaging the head and about to administer some injections.Poor management. I introduced myself to the Chemist and took over management. Very deep laceration. I cleaned, scraped the hair, found the edges and stitched them up. There was no lidnocaine (anaesthesia), so it was the most harrowing ex...

AMAL CLOONEY COVERS VOGUE MAGAZINE,MAY 2018 EDITION.{PHOTOS}.

Image
A sudden late snow is falling, bright with just a touch of magic, as the automatic gate to Aberlash House opens. It’s an afternoon in March but, in this powdery landscape, could be January. Footprints lead a few steps down a drive, between a row of trees, and climb to a small colonnaded entryway. A breeze is up; the air is bracing.   Amal Clooney   swings open the door and gathers me inside. “I feel as if I know you already,” she says oddly, setting a latch against the cold. Tall, poised, and—unexpectedly for someone often seen in somber barrister’s robes—funny, Clooney is an easy host, and dashes off to hang my coat. She wears a red thigh-length  Giambattista Valli  sweater, jeans, and leopard-print boots she picked up years ago in Capri. The stately entry hall around us (towering ceilings, crisp Georgian molding) is trimmed with personal details. A softly faded Persian rug extends down the stone corridor. A side table, lit by a simple...
