 October 1 protest: Ogun court restricts protesters to MKO Abiola Stadium, three other venues A High Court sitting in Abeokuta, Ogun State, has restricted members of the #FearlessInOctober protest groups in the state to the MKO Abiola Stadium in Abeokuta, Gateway International Stadium, Sagamu; Dipo Dina Stadium, Ijebu Ode, and Ansar-Ud-Deen Comprehensive High School, Ota. The court presided by Tajudeen. A.Okunsokan gave this order following an application brought by the Attorney-General of Ogun State in suit no AB/667/2024, and with Messers Afolabi Adeboye, Ifemosu Michael, Lekan Soneye (for themselves and members of the#FearlessInOctober protests); Bestman Okereafor (on behalf of the Progressive Students Movement), Francis Adeyanju (on behalf of the National Association of Nigerian Students) and Thomas Kehinde (on behalf of the National Association of Ogun Students), as respondents. NIGERIAN TROOPS RECENTLY FREED 370 HOSTAGES AND KILLED MANY TERRORISTS.

SENEGAL IS SET TO DEPLOY ARMED OFFICERS TO ALL MAJOR HOTELS IN THEIR COUNTRY,TO PREVENT MILITANTS FROM ATTACKING THEM.

               Senegal Interior Minister announced today that they will deploy armed officers to guard major hotels in the county as part of its anti-terrorism measures.Abdoulaye Daouda Diallo has been outlining the measures that the Senegalese government is undertaking to prevent terrorist attacks in the capital,Dakar.The minister was answering questions from Senegal MP's concerned b recent assaults on hotels in Burkina Faso's capita; Ouagadougou and Mali's Bamako.Diallo said smaller hotels were also being visited by police to check their safety.He revealed that he had written to all hotel owners warning them to enforce their security or face closure.One more photo below.

               Today friday,the police in Lagos State Command paraded 36 suspects over their alleged involvement in various criminal activities in Lagos State.The suspects were paraded by the Lagos State Commissioner of Police,Mr Fatai Owoseni today friday.Among those arrested include Pastor Titus Onwuchekwa of the Presbyterian church,Umuahia in Abia state,Osas Felix fromEdo state who specialized in buying stolen vehicles from robbers and selling to unsuspecting people.Other suspects are 30 years old Bola Salami,28 year old Opeyemi Aregbesola,22 year old Chibuike Umeh and Ndibe Samuel.According to CP Owoseni,the police recovered an unregistered Toyota 4 Runner SUV,Toyota Camry with number FKJ 441 DV,Lexus Rx30 with number LSR 492 DX and Mitsubishi Pajero SUV with number SMK 484 DS,Owoseni also paraded suspected cultist who he alleged had been terrorizing members of the public.Those he paraded are Oluwaseyi Adetifa,Nofiu Ramoni,Saka Apalara,Ahmed Apalara and Waisu Alaparara who were arr

NIGERIA AND TUNISIA PLAYED DRAW TODAY AT THE CAF 2016.

                        Today friday,The Nigerian Super Eagles played draw with their Tunisian counterpart at the group C match of the ongoing Confederation of African Football {CAF} 2016 Championship in Kigali,Rwanda.Nigeria's Chisom Chikatara scored the first goal in the match early in the second half before Tusinia's Ahmed Akaichi equalized at about 70th minute of the game,leaving the scoreline at Tunisia 1:1 Nigeria.With the result of the game,Nigeria remains on top of the group with 4 points,Tunisia second with 2 points,Guinea 1 point while Niger struggles to record points later today against Guinea.Osas Okoro was awarded the CAF Orange man of the match.One more photo below.
