 Kebbi Govt Donates 10 Hilux Vehicles to Boost Security on Sokoto–Badagry Super Highway  The Kebbi State Government has handed over 10 brand-new Hilux vehicles to the Federal Ministry of Works to strengthen security for personnel working on the Sokoto–Badagry Super Highway project. The vehicles were formally received by the Minister of State for Works, Bello Muhammad Goronyo, who praised Kebbi State Governor, Dr. Nasiru Idris (Kauran Gwandu), for the donation. Goronyo described the gesture as a clear demonstration of the state government’s commitment to protecting workers and contractors on the strategic highway corridor. He explained that the vehicles will be deployed exclusively to security operatives providing cover for construction teams along the section of the super highway passing through Kebbi State. The Sokoto–Badagry Super Highway is a multi-state infrastructure project aimed at improving connectivity and economic activities across northern and southern Nigeria. More...

 PRESS RELEASE EFFECTIVE POLICING: PRESIDENT SETS TO COMMISSION NPF’S OPERATIONAL ASSETS, CROWD CONTROL EQUIPMENT ON MONDAY The Inspector-General of Police, IGP Usman Alkali Baba, psc(+), NPM, NEAPS, fdc, CFR, has concluded plans in readiness for the visit of President Muhammadu Buhari, GCFR, to Louis Edet House, Force Headquarters, Abuja, to commission a wide assortment of operational assets acquired to strategically improve on the operational capabilities of the Nigeria Police Force, particularly in crowd control and anti-riot operations, on Monday 13th February, 2023 by 9am. What happened will serve as a lesson to all rich men that show wickedness to the poor. I was employed as a driver in September 2018 while they were still living at Quarry. After six months of working as their driver, I was asked to do their household chores, including sweeping. My salary was N25,000. I adhered to it without complaining. In 2020, I planned to request a loan. I eventually made the request on January 16 on our way back from a party in Lagos. I asked Mr Fatinoye to give me advance payment so that I could invest it and he promised to grant it, but it was not granted. In 2021, I made the same request from the wife, Mrs Bukola Fatinoye.
