 Taraba: Police Commissioner Calls for Peaceful Coexistence Between Herders and Farmers The Taraba State Commissioner of Police, Ukachi Peter Opara, has urged for greater peace and understanding between herders and farmers in the state. During a meeting with the leadership of the Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria (MACBAN) in Jalingo on Thursday, Opara highlighted the importance of dialogue and cooperation for long-term development. He emphasized that peaceful coexistence between these groups is crucial for their livelihoods and for fostering economic growth and stability in the state and the nation. Opara commended MACBAN for its readiness to collaborate with the police in promoting peace and security in Taraba. He reassured that the police would continue to work diligently to protect lives and property and pledged to leave no stone unturned in maintaining peace and stability in the state.     The attention of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, has been drawn to a widely syndicated article by Senator Babafemi Ojudu, Special Adviser to the President on Political Matters entitled, Fifth Columnists in Our Recent History, wherein he portrayed the Commission as a conscript in the devious plots by Senator Bukola Saraki to undermine the leadership of President Muhammadu Buhari.        A man has been caught in Lokpaukwu,Abia state after he killed another man. According to report,he was sent by a ritualist who promised to pay him after the act. Unluckily for him he was caught while perpetrating the act by villagers.More details later and more photos below.

GIRL,17,CUTS OFF BOYFRIENDS MANHOOD IN JIGAWA STATE

             A girlfriend to a secondary school teacher in Babura town of Jigawa state, Ramlatu Tafida, 17, has chopped off the manhood of her boyfriend, Abdullahi Sabo, 25, with a knife. Sabo, who is left with a dangling manhood has been hospitalized in Aminu Kano Teaching Hospital Kano.While Miss Tafida, has since been arraigned on three count charges of attempt to commit culpable homicide, assault and for taking law into her hand.

     Abdullahi Abubakar is the 83-year- old Imam who saved 300 Christians, especially women and children during the recent killings of over 200 persons in Barkin Ladi and Riyom Local Government of Plateau State on June 23. KEBBI STATE COMMENCES TRAINING ON SOLAR.{PHOTOS}.

     Governor Abubakar Atiku Bagudu has approved the training of forty participants on solar and PV installation to be conducted by the Sokoto Energy Research Centre, Usman Danfodio University Sokoto. According to the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor of Kebbi State, Abubakar Mu’azu Dakingari, Governor Abubakar Atiku Bagudu urged the trainees to pay attention to the training to achieve maximum understanding to enable them impact same to  others. The four weeks intensive training commenced on Monday 6th August 2018 at the YESSO Training Hall in KUDA premises, Birnin Kebbi for the first two weeks. Those that pass the first examination will qualify for the second part to take place in the Sokoto Energy Research Centre in Sokoto State. LADY FALLS FROM BALCONY OF A 2-STOREY BUILDING WHILE CHATTING WITH HER FRIEND IN ANAMBRA STATE.{PHOTOS}.

     A lady has been hospitalized after suffering an unfortunate mishap in Nnewi area, Anambra state. According to Christabella Akunna, she went to visit her friend when the accident happened which left her badly injured after falling from a building. It was revealed that the lady was chatting with her friend on the balcony of a two-storey building when she decided to rest on the rail not knowing it was not strong. Immediately she leaned on it, she fell from the building and broke her body parts including femur, patellae, jaw, teeth and ankles. She was rushed to Nnewi Teaching Hospital where she received some treatment after she recovered from consciousness. The lady who lost some tooth - ate liquid food for about four months and also went for local bone setting for five months, all to no avail. Some Facebook users have reached out to the wounded lady in order to come to her aid.More photos below.
