CABLE VANDALISM: SUSPECT CAUGHT IN ABIA COMMUNITY. (PHOTO).

Abia State Community Policing Vigilante has arrested an electric cable thief, simply identified as Samuel, while vandalizing power installations along Isi Court-Ikputu road in Isiala Ngwa area. While two out of the three thieves escaped with their operational tricycle, the leader of the syndicate identified as Samuel, from Ebonyi State was apprehended by the Community Policing Vigilante. The arrest of the suspect was made known by the Commander of Abia State Community Policing Vigilante in the area, K.C. Martins. Martins, who said that efforts have been intensified by his men to arrest the two fleeing members of the criminal gang, commended Governor Alex Otti’s administration’s determination protecting the lives and property of the people in the State. IN AN AUDIO TAPE,ISIS LEADER ABU,URGES MUSLIMS FROM ALL OVER,TO EMIGRATE TO SELF PROCLAIMED CALIPHATE.

               This is becoming more serious than we thought as the leader of the Islamic state group Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi yesterday thursday urged muslims to emigrate to his self proclaimed caliphate.This is the first audio recording from him in six months.In the audio tape he said ''And we call upon every muslim in every place to perform Hijrah {emigration} to the Islamic state of fight in his land whatever that maybe''.The voice reading the speech appeared to match with the previous audio recordings of Baghdadi,the latest of which was released in mid November.The audio tape recording which was released yesterday thursday comes a few days after media reports that said the leader of the ISIS group might be seriously wounded in a strike by the US-led coalition bombing ISIS in Iraq and Syria.

                                 Today friday,Major General Godefroid Niyombare was captured,two days after announcing Nkurunziza had been removed as President and he has taken over.President Nkurunziza has returned to the capital,but protesters pledged to go back to streets,setting the stage for more clashes.Spokesman for the president Gervais Abayeho said ''He has been arrested,he didn't surrender and other coup plotters who announced the coup when Nkurunziza was abroad,they will be held answerable,though it was up to the justice system''.

MINISTER OF FINANCE OKONJO IWEALA,ORDERS THE TERMINATION OF SURE-P PARTNERSHIP WITH FORCECOM NETWORK LTD.

                            This termination was contained in a statement issued to news men yesterday thursday in Abuja by Mr Suleiman Haruna,Communication Specialist to SURE-P.The statement said the minister further directed that the firm should be investigated by the security agencies.The minister said the firm should be investigated for deploying interns to work on mobile money business months after they were deployed to the company.She also accused the firm for presenting 'time sheets' which shows that the interns had worked and requested payment of their monthly stipend when they did not work.In the statement,the GIS guidelines stipulated that interns should be paid for the number of days they worked every month.The statement said the managing Director of the firm,Mr Paul Okafor coerced interns to sign undertaking to pay N7,500 of their monthly stipend for training with Lekki Business school.It is also alleged t...
