PSC PROMOTES OVER 8,000 POLICE OFFICERS. (PHOTO).

 PSC Promotes Over 8,000 Police Officers On Wednesday, the Police Service Commission (PSC) approved the promotion of 8,053 senior police officers. Earlier in the week, 11 Commissioners of Police were promoted to the rank of Assistant Inspectors General (AIGs), and 16 Deputy Commissioners of Police (DCPs) were elevated to the rank of Commissioners of Police (CPs). Additionally, 21 Assistant Commissioners of Police (ACPs) were promoted to DCPs, and 57 Chief Superintendents of Police (CSPs) moved up to Assistant Commissioners (ACPs). According to a statement by the PSC's spokesperson, Ikechukwu Ani, the total number of promotions included 1,348 Superintendents of Police (SPs) promoted to Chief Superintendents, 876 Deputy Superintendents of Police (DSPs) promoted to Superintendents, and 5,829 Assistant Superintendents of Police (ASPs) promoted to DSPs. JSS 1 STUDENT DIED AFTER BEING FLOGGED BY A CORPER IN OYO STATE.

        The corper is serving at Akingbile Oluana Grammer school,Moniya,Ibadan has been brought before Homicide section of state criminal investigation Department,Iyaganku,Ibadan as a suspect in the death of a Jss1 student,Ester Oyeleke.The corper gave six students two strokes of cane each on January 27,stating that the hand of their daughter is swollen after the two stroke of cane.From a swollen hand,the girl's whole body also started swwelling up,and she was taken to one Osoko Maternity Hospital where she was confirmed dead.The relative of the girl led a protest to the school and disrupted academic activities.When the case was reported at Moniya Division,it was immediately transfered to the state CID for investigations.The corper said '' i was at a meeting of youth corps members when i was called that we should go and pay the girl a visit in the hospital by the time we got to the hospital,one of the teachers came to me and said she learnt that the student was dead'...

          The king of pop's estate was accused of cheating taxpayers out of million of dollars by alledgedlly undervaluing the wealth of the late pop star,and has been hit with a penalty of more than $702 million.New legal documents filed with the US tax court in Washington.After Jackson died in June 2009,the execotors of the estate valued the singers net worth at around $7million,while the IRS are disputing the figure and claiming that Michael Jackson actually worth $1.125billion most of the dispute is centered around the value of Jackson's image,such as Branded T-shirt,merchandise and using of his likeness in Television commercials etc.The estate value Jackson's likeness at $2,105,while the IRS put it at $434.264 million.The estate put the value of the pop star interest in the trust that own's the Beatle's and Jackson #'s song at zero,while the IRS put it at $469million.More photos below.                     ...
