CABLE VANDALISM: SUSPECT CAUGHT IN ABIA COMMUNITY. (PHOTO).

Abia State Community Policing Vigilante has arrested an electric cable thief, simply identified as Samuel, while vandalizing power installations along Isi Court-Ikputu road in Isiala Ngwa area. While two out of the three thieves escaped with their operational tricycle, the leader of the syndicate identified as Samuel, from Ebonyi State was apprehended by the Community Policing Vigilante. The arrest of the suspect was made known by the Commander of Abia State Community Policing Vigilante in the area, K.C. Martins. Martins, who said that efforts have been intensified by his men to arrest the two fleeing members of the criminal gang, commended Governor Alex Otti’s administration’s determination protecting the lives and property of the people in the State. A VIGILANTE MAN,WAS ARRESTED YESTERDAY IN OGUN STATE FOR ARMED ROBBERY.

                According to sources,yesterday wednesday,a man who claimed to be a member of the Vigilante Group of Nigeria,VGN,Mr Adesiyan Adeniyi,has been arrested by men of the Sagamu Police Command for alleged armed robbery.He was arrested in possession of a stolen unregistered motorcycle and a locally made double barrel gun with 20 live cartridges.Police operatives who had placed the suspect undersurveillance arrested him at Ewusi area,Makun,Sagamu in Sagamu Local Government Area of Ogun state on wednesday afternoon.A statemment today thursday by the Ogun Police spokeperson,DSP Olumuyiwa Adejobi,said preliminary investigation has revealed that the suspect,who claims to be a Vigilante official.,has been terrorizing the good people of Sagamu and robbing them of their belongings on several occasions.The Commissioner of Police Oggun state,CP Abdulmajid Ali,has therefore directed thorough investigation into the matter to ascertain the membership o...

THE BIGGEST JESUS CHRIST STATUE,TO BE UNVEILED TOMORROW IN IMO STATE.

                       A Nigerian businessman will unveil the statue that he says is the biggest one of its kind,describing it as a symbol of peace in Nigeria.Obinna Onuoha commissioned the 8.53m tall ''Jesus de Greatest'' statue in 2013,hiring a Chinese company to carve it out of white marble.The 40 ton statue of Jesus standing barefoot with arms outstretched will tower over St.Aloysius Catholic Church in the mainly Christian village of Abajah in Nigeria's south eastern state .43 Onuoha  old chief executive officer of an oil and gas distribution company said ''It's going to be the biggest statue of Jesus on the continent''.Around 1000 pilgrims are expected to attend the statue's unveiling tomorrow New Year's day.Onuoha further said that he has contracted the police to ensure that the statue is not attacked or vandalized.One more photo below.                       ...

THE KING OF LATE MANDELA'S CLAN IN SOUTH AFRICA,SENTENCED TO 12 YEARS IMPRISONMENT.

                 The king of the AbaThembu clan of South Africa according to Reuters has started a 12 year jail sentence for arson,kidnapping and assault,in which his the King of the clan of the late anti-apartheid icon Nelson Mandela.51 year old Buyelekhaya Dalindyebo,was convicted of the offenses in 2009 but has been fighting the verdict in the courts for years.He turned himself over to the Mthatha Correctional Center in the Eastern Cape Province just before midnight yesterday wednesday.Prosecutors said he had kidnapped subjects and had kidnapped subjects and had homes set ablaze to punish those who refused to do his bidding.He is the king of Mandela's clan in a poor rural region in South Africa's Eastern Cape province.One more photo below.                                          

OVER 300 FLIGHTS WERE CANCELLED IN AND OUT OF TURKEY TODAY BECAUSE OF THE WEATHER CONDITION.

                 Today thursday,hundreds of flights in and out of Turkey were cancelled for thursday and friday at Istanbul's two airport after the city was covered by heavy snow.The weather condition also forced the closure of schools and brought chaos to the roads.Turkish Airlines cancelled 265 flights in and out of the main Ataturk airport and 37 at Sabiha Gokcen,Istanbul's second airport.Ferries were disruptedbut the only maritime outlet for Russian oil and other commodities from the Black Sea,remained open to shipping.One more photo below.

                                             I received a mail from one of my blog fan identified as Akinrinola Jab'erjawzz Olusoji,he sent in a lot of pictures with the caption ''The craze for money without thinking of the safety of our fellow human's well being.I just boarded a bus from Costain bus stop heading to Ajegunle Lagos.Right in the bus just in front of where i sat was this damaged area in the bus which was supposed to cover the right rear tyre totally exposed.Please Nigerians,imagine what will happen in the typical night rush if someone's foot should slide into the damaged area as the bus is on the move,or if the damaged area when stepped upon should puncture the tyre along the container,tanker a heavy truck infested Ijora Apapa route.I got down and couldn't locate any police officer in site.Please broadcast let's safe a leg,life or lives,because this a tragedy ...
