 PRESIDENT TINUBU EULOGIZES DR THOMPSON ABAYOMI OSHIN ON HIS CENTENNIAL BIRTHDAY President Bola Tinubu congratulates Dr Thompson Abayomi Oshin, a renowned healthcare professional, educator, and humanitarian, on his 100th birthday. Dr Oshin, widely regarded as the father of physiotherapy in Nigeria, is a pioneer of physiotherapy in Africa. He is the first head and consultant physiotherapist at the University College Hospital (UCH), Ibadan, and served as the first Secretary-General of the African Physiotherapy Organisation following his election in Cairo in 1980. A statement by Special Adviser to President Tinubu on Information and Strategy Bayo Onanuga says the President also salutes Pa Oshin, who helped transform physiotherapy from a hospital-based technical service into a respected university-level profession, laying the foundation for modern physiotherapy education and practice in Nigeria.  Veteran Nigerian Musician, Kollington Ayinla Critically Ill, Hospitalised For Days Veteran Nigerian Fuji musician, Alhaji Kolawole Rasaq Ilori, popularly known as Kollington Ayinla, is lying ill and has been hospitalised for days, SaharaReporters learnt from sources. Reports from those close to the 75-year-old musician said that Ayinla had been ill for over a week.  He was admitted to the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital (LASUTH) in Ikeja, the source said.  SaharaReporters learnt that his condition had become critical and he had to be placed on oxygen. Narrating the story, the man mentioned that the Uber guy lost everything after his wife falsely accused him of rape in Canada. He wrote; “God!!!! This Japa thing is not easy. I felt so much pity for my bolt driver this evening. Some women are so w!cked, that you can call them the devil itself. This man lived in Canada for 11 years. I almost wept for him.
