 October 1 protest: Ogun court restricts protesters to MKO Abiola Stadium, three other venues A High Court sitting in Abeokuta, Ogun State, has restricted members of the #FearlessInOctober protest groups in the state to the MKO Abiola Stadium in Abeokuta, Gateway International Stadium, Sagamu; Dipo Dina Stadium, Ijebu Ode, and Ansar-Ud-Deen Comprehensive High School, Ota. The court presided by Tajudeen. A.Okunsokan gave this order following an application brought by the Attorney-General of Ogun State in suit no AB/667/2024, and with Messers Afolabi Adeboye, Ifemosu Michael, Lekan Soneye (for themselves and members of the#FearlessInOctober protests); Bestman Okereafor (on behalf of the Progressive Students Movement), Francis Adeyanju (on behalf of the National Association of Nigerian Students) and Thomas Kehinde (on behalf of the National Association of Ogun Students), as respondents.               According to sources,the counsel to Ex-Governor of Lagos state Bola Tinubu,Mr Tunji Abayomi said,a letter asking Daar Communications to appologise for the content and to stop the further airing of false allegation against him was delivered this afternoon,2nd of March 2015.The Part A of the letter reads ''You aired an hour long documentary forcussing on our client {Bola Tinubu}.Cleraly pre-occupied with political resentment and hatred neither warranted,necessary,proper,or justified.You published several false allegations against our client.More disturbing is your misrepresentation that said,the documentary was ''sponsored'',without disclosing the ''sponsors''.You cannot under law,hide under media freedom to maliciously injure a citizen's reputation''.The letter also demanded for N20billion {Twenty Billion Naira} as cost of damage done to the reputation of his client.Failing to comply,his client will sue the company.Read t

A NATIVE DOCTOR AKIN BABALOLA,DUPED A 70 YEAR OLD WOMAN,OVER A LOVE POTION.

                                                                                                                       According to sources,a 48 year old native doctor Akin Babalola,was arrested and charged before Ejigbo Magistrate court for allegedly defrauding a 70 year old woman,identified as Grace Dinah,who contacted the native doctor to prepare her love potion that will enable her win back her husband after years of separation in Lagos state.The Osun born native doctor allegedly collected N500,000 from Grace under false pretence of preparing the love potion for her.Instead of the native doctor to keep his own part of the bargain,he allegedly duped the womam,claiming he could not prepare such medicine which might cause the death of her estranged husband.Thpugh the woman denied that he asked the Akin the native doctor to prepare love potion for her.But it was gather that the 70 year old woman's husband dumped her and her children and married another woman some years ago,leaving
