 October 1 protest: Ogun court restricts protesters to MKO Abiola Stadium, three other venues A High Court sitting in Abeokuta, Ogun State, has restricted members of the #FearlessInOctober protest groups in the state to the MKO Abiola Stadium in Abeokuta, Gateway International Stadium, Sagamu; Dipo Dina Stadium, Ijebu Ode, and Ansar-Ud-Deen Comprehensive High School, Ota. The court presided by Tajudeen. A.Okunsokan gave this order following an application brought by the Attorney-General of Ogun State in suit no AB/667/2024, and with Messers Afolabi Adeboye, Ifemosu Michael, Lekan Soneye (for themselves and members of the#FearlessInOctober protests); Bestman Okereafor (on behalf of the Progressive Students Movement), Francis Adeyanju (on behalf of the National Association of Nigerian Students) and Thomas Kehinde (on behalf of the National Association of Ogun Students), as respondents.             Today wednesday,according to the U.N Secretary General Ban Ki-Moon,said the head of the United Nations peacekeeping mission in Central African Republic has resigned after a fresh round of allegations of sexual abuse and excessive use of force by peacekeepers.''Today i have accepted the resignation of my special representative Mr Babacar Gaye,head of the United Nationd Multidimensional Integrated Stabilization Mission in the Central Africa Republic,MINUSCA'.Gaye a general from Senegal,submitted his resignation at Ban's request.The announcement comes after Amnesty International accused MINUSCA peacekeepers of raping a 12 year old girl and killing a boy and his father during an operation in the country's capital of Bangui this month.Ban Ki-Moon said Gaye worked so honourably for many years but he wanted to show a strong example.He plans to brief the U.N security tomorrow thursday.He added that he was convening a special meeting with all U.N envoys,police co

AN HELICOPTER TODAY CRASHED IN OWORONSHOKI LAGOON,LAGOS STATE.,KILLING 3 PEOPLE.

                           Today wednesday,the National Emergency Management Agency {NEMA},has reported that an unidentified helicopter has crashed into the Lagos Lagoon at the Oworonshoki area of Lagos.According to the spokesman for NEMA,Ibrahim Farinloye in an SMS said no distress call was sent to NEMA alert system from the helicopter but rescue agencies are on their way to the scene of the incident.The helicopter crashed around 3:40pm today wednesday and three people have been confirmed dead and three people injured.I just pray by now that everybody including the pilot,survived.One more photo below.

                  According to sources,35 year old Pastor {Mrs} Joy Tongo of the Mountain of fire Ministry,Yaba headquarters,has been charged before Isolo Magistrate court and remand in prison for her alleged involvement in a visa scandal in Lagos state.She defrauded Stanley Dim under the false pretence of procuring him a Chinese visa for missionary journey.According to Stanley Dim,Pastor Tongo met him at the church headquarters in Yaba and promised to link him with her partner in China for missionary journey and thereafter he could stay back there and earn a living.Pastor Tongo allegedlly told him that he will pay N300,000 or the procurement of visa and other necessary documents for the trip.Stanley Dim,who did not suspect any foul play,gave her the money and she promised to get back to him with the visa a day before the journey.Pastor Tongo allegedly failed to deliver the visa on the day she promised Stanley Dim.The travel period also elapsed and there was no alternative arrangement

                                                         If you ask me,there are things that are not worth celebrating and making headlines.I will only pardon these woman if she was not aware she was on her monthly flow while she was running,.but if she new before hand,then she is not worth being celebrated because she is suppose to be promoting hygiene not un-hygiene.She is identified as 26 year old Kiran Gandhi and she crossed the finished line during the 2015 London marathon and she did it after making a bold choice to run while on her period and to bleed freely.Kiran who recently got her MBA from Harvard Business school and toured with Grammy nominated artist MIA as a drummer,got her period the night before the marathon,a day for which she had been training for a year.Kiran explained why she ran without a sanitary pad in a piece she wrote entitled ''Going with the flow:Blood and Ssterhood at the London Marathon''.She said ''Imagining running 26.2 miles with
