 PSC Promotes Over 8,000 Police Officers On Wednesday, the Police Service Commission (PSC) approved the promotion of 8,053 senior police officers. Earlier in the week, 11 Commissioners of Police were promoted to the rank of Assistant Inspectors General (AIGs), and 16 Deputy Commissioners of Police (DCPs) were elevated to the rank of Commissioners of Police (CPs). Additionally, 21 Assistant Commissioners of Police (ACPs) were promoted to DCPs, and 57 Chief Superintendents of Police (CSPs) moved up to Assistant Commissioners (ACPs). According to a statement by the PSC's spokesperson, Ikechukwu Ani, the total number of promotions included 1,348 Superintendents of Police (SPs) promoted to Chief Superintendents, 876 Deputy Superintendents of Police (DSPs) promoted to Superintendents, and 5,829 Assistant Superintendents of Police (ASPs) promoted to DSPs.   The action of this Nigerian lady has just proven to all that Indeed good people still exists in our nation. I have heard of people who received an amount which is even smaller than this but refused to return it back to the owner. But this lady proved to be different, and I pray that God will reward her for such an action.  According to reports online, a young Nigerian lady have shocked a lot of people after sending back millions of Naira that was sent into her account. This lady revealed that a company who was supposed to send her N38k mistakenly sent in N38million. Instead of spending the money (like many people would do), She returned the money back to the company and this have really caused a lot of reactions online.More photos below.

  The Nigeria Customs Service (NCS), Apapa Area Command, Lagos, has seized lion bones and pangolin scales worth N952 million. The Customs Area Controller of the command, Comptroller Mohammed Abba-Kura, disclosed this during a press briefing yesterday, Jan 27. Abba-Kura said the items were billed for export to Vietnam when they were intercepted. He added that the contrabands were in a 20-feet container with number CSLU 2362640, heading to Haiphong, Vietnam. He said the items, comprising 162 sacks of pangolin scales weighing 8,800kgs and 57 sacks of mixed endangered species of various sizes such as ivory/animal horns, lion bones and others were falsely declared as furniture components. He added that the total weight of the items stood at 854,719 tonnes, valued at N952 million.   A Vessel, MV Kamsi and its crew of five, arrested by officers of the Nigerian Navy Ship, NNS Beecroft, Apapa, Lagos for illegal dealing in petroleum product, were on Wednesday, January 27, 2021 handed over to the Lagos Zonal Office of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC for further investigation and possible prosecution. The crew members are: Ugochukwu Obasi, Christian Nwaigwe, Ekundayo Segun, Kadiri Jimoh and Olamide Koledoye According to the Navy, the vessel and its crew members were arrested around South West off Lagos Fairway Buoy for illegally being in possession of about 120,000 litres of automotive gas oil, (AGO). They will be charged to court as soon as investigation is concluded.

Ezekiel, who is purportedly wanted by the Commission over an alleged N117billion Ponzi scheme fraud. The alert which has been circulating in the social media, triggered several calls and inquiries by Nigerians seeking to authenticate the notice. The Commission wishes to inform the public that the so-called Wanted Person notice did not emanate from the EFCC, and should be disregarded.
