PSC PROMOTES OVER 8,000 POLICE OFFICERS. (PHOTO).

 PSC Promotes Over 8,000 Police Officers On Wednesday, the Police Service Commission (PSC) approved the promotion of 8,053 senior police officers. Earlier in the week, 11 Commissioners of Police were promoted to the rank of Assistant Inspectors General (AIGs), and 16 Deputy Commissioners of Police (DCPs) were elevated to the rank of Commissioners of Police (CPs). Additionally, 21 Assistant Commissioners of Police (ACPs) were promoted to DCPs, and 57 Chief Superintendents of Police (CSPs) moved up to Assistant Commissioners (ACPs). According to a statement by the PSC's spokesperson, Ikechukwu Ani, the total number of promotions included 1,348 Superintendents of Police (SPs) promoted to Chief Superintendents, 876 Deputy Superintendents of Police (DSPs) promoted to Superintendents, and 5,829 Assistant Superintendents of Police (ASPs) promoted to DSPs.               The 53 year old actress Henrietta Kosoko and the wife of Nollywood actor Prince Jide Kosoko,passed away today after she slumped and was rushed to the hospital where doctors confirmed she was dead.The actress celebrated her 53rd birthday last week,and according to reports,she has been battling with diabetes for a while before she died today monday morning at an undisclosed hospital in Lagos state.An inside source told pressmen that ''She was in coma and eventually gave up the ghost,she's actually been battling diabetics for a while now cause her sugar level keeps fluctuating''.One more photo below.                                                                                                   ...

                  Court grants convicted Omatseye bail pending appeal.The convicted former Director General of Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency {NIMASA},Temisan Omatseye,was today Monday 6th of June 2016,granted bail pending appeal before Justice Rita Ofili-Ajumogobia of a Federal High Court sitting in Lagos which earlier slammed the convict with a five year jail term.Omatseye was prosecuted by EFCC,on a 25 count charge of bid rigging,contract variation and awarding contract above his approval limit while he was the boss of the maritime regulatory agency.One more photo below.                                                                                                     ...

                A 24 year old female journalist identified as Sagal Salad Osman,who worked for a state run radio station as a presenter and a producer,was shot dead yesterday sunday in Somalia state capital Mogadishu.She was shot dead near a college campus where she was studying.Al-Shabaab militants are the main suspects of the attack,although they are yet to claim responsibility.The militants are known to target journalists.May her soul rest in peace,AMEN.More photos below.                                                                                                                                         ...

BRITAIN'S LONELIEST DOG 'FREYA',LANDS A TOP ROLE IN A FILM 'TRANSFORMERS PART 5'.{PHOTOS}.

                   Britain's loneliest dog lands a top role in the next Transformers 5 film,after a local newspaper appeal.The dog identified as Freya had stayed in a home shelter for six years and had been overlooked by more than 18000 potential families who visited the shelter.Staffordshire Bull Terrier Freya is set to appear in the Transformers 5 film after director Michael Bay noticed the story,initially run by the Southport Visited.Bay noticed Freya's story after it appeared on the Mirror Online website,and has now said he plans to cast her in his new movie,which will be filmed in the UK this summer,after sharing the appeal on Twitter.Bay also promised to find a home for her.More photos below.
