 Up at dawn for front-row seat to history at Francis’s funeral Many had woken up at dawn while others slept in their cars before Catholic faithful poured into St Peter’s Square from all corners of the globe on Saturday, fuelled by a desire to honour Pope Francis. As the first rays of the day rose over the sprawling Baroque plaza, mourners rushed towards empty chairs once they had passed through metal detectors, anxious for a front-row seat to history. Among them was Jean-Baptiste Leclezio, a 22-year-old from Lyon, who slept on the ground overnight at the seat of the Catholic Church to be among the first to enter for the funeral of Francis, who died on Monday age 88. “We took floor mats and sleeping bags and we slept there with 400 people, a lot of young people, scouts,” he told AFP. “There were people singing all night but we managed to sleep,” he said. ROBERT KARDASHIAN WIDOW REFUSES TO PAY LEGAL BILLS.

            Ellen Pearson,Robert Kardashian widow refused to pay $300k leagal bills because she claimed that Kim and her sisters are unreasonable,excessive,unnecessary and they are cheap.She told a judge,''shouldn't have to pay Kris Jenner and her daughters the astounding legal bills''.In court document,the Kardashians claim a total in excess of $300,000 in attorney's fees.In similar situation,the documents note,parties are rarely granted more than $60,000.The monetary request didn't include fees incured in the Federal lawsuit the Kardashian filed against their father's widow for $500,000 in damages over claims she sold their family property including photos and diaries to Bauer publishing,In Touch and Lie & Style magazine.

6 BLOGGERS & 3 JOURNALIST ARRESTED IN ETHIOPIA.

            They were arrested with attempting to incite violence.All nine defendants,including freelance journalists Tesfalem Waldyes and Edom Kassaye,appeared in court on Sunday after they were rounded up by police on April 25 and 26.On Monday,Human Rights Watch {HRW} called on U.S Secretary of states John Kerry,who visitd Ethiopia on Tuesday,to press the government to unconditionally release all the defendants but Addis Ababa dismissed the critism of the case.According to Leslie Lefkow,HRW Deputy Africa Director says ''The nine arrest signal once again that,anyone who critizes the Ethiopian government,they will be silenced.The timing of the arrests just days before the U.S secretary of state's visit speaks volumes about Ethiopia's disregard for free speech''.

                            According to Finance Minister Ngozi Okonjo Iweala,She said ''There is no war,there is an insurgency,we are not in a Colombia situation''.This was what she said on sunday to an international magazine,in her car in Abuja on her way as she headed to the airport to fly to NewYork.She also said Boko Haram,who have raided schools,churches,government offices and security posts in theit fight to carve out an Islamist enclave,mostly affected around 5% of the nation's territory,the northeast states of Borno,Yobe and Adamawa,but she acknowledged Boko haram had shown it could strike further south.She said further ''WEF is still going to hold'',this what she said to the host of the African Davos which was previously been held in cities such as Cape town and Addis Ababa.Nigeria is mounting the largest security operation it had ever staged for an international summit,deploying 6,000 soldiers and police.

           According to a national newspaper,a policeman attached to police mobile force 22,Augustine Gbuchenge with number 400823 is on the run after being caught in the process of abducting his neighbours daughter,an 8year old girl Amarachi.Amarachi said '' On that day,Gbuchrnge asked me to buy akara for him.After i returned,my mum asked me to go upstairs to do the dishes.As i was going,the man pulled me from behind and took me into his room.He then tied me up.He did not rape.After sometimes,my parents started shouting my name and calling me,the policeman used an iron to hit me in the head repeatedly and then pushed me under the bed and used cloths to cover me under the bed.I saw little childrens cloths.He then turned on his generator so that even if i try to shout no one would hear.After sometime ,he left.I continued to hear my father's voice and i struggled to push my leg from under the bed.That was how they saw me and rescued me.According to a neighbou...
