PSC PROMOTES OVER 8,000 POLICE OFFICERS. (PHOTO).

 PSC Promotes Over 8,000 Police Officers On Wednesday, the Police Service Commission (PSC) approved the promotion of 8,053 senior police officers. Earlier in the week, 11 Commissioners of Police were promoted to the rank of Assistant Inspectors General (AIGs), and 16 Deputy Commissioners of Police (DCPs) were elevated to the rank of Commissioners of Police (CPs). Additionally, 21 Assistant Commissioners of Police (ACPs) were promoted to DCPs, and 57 Chief Superintendents of Police (CSPs) moved up to Assistant Commissioners (ACPs). According to a statement by the PSC's spokesperson, Ikechukwu Ani, the total number of promotions included 1,348 Superintendents of Police (SPs) promoted to Chief Superintendents, 876 Deputy Superintendents of Police (DSPs) promoted to Superintendents, and 5,829 Assistant Superintendents of Police (ASPs) promoted to DSPs.         On saturday the 7th of April 2018,Mr Howell Alusi from Umuokpu Awka Anambra state got married to his sweet heart Onyinye Victoria  Duru,after dating for ten years in Lagos.The colours for the day was cream and Pastels and both the bride and grooms family all looked beautifully dressed.The wedding mass started from 12 noon at Our Saviour's Church Tafawa Balewa Square Lagos.The reception which was strictly by invitation was held at the The Condo Marquee,Nigerian Airforce Mess,Victoria Island.The mother of the groom Mrs Oby Alusi was looking very young and stylishly dressed in sky-blue and white Indianlike lace and red and white pearl native scarf.Did you notice the brides gown,that is a red carpet Oscar Award gown,looks perfect on her,her nude makeup choice was 100% ok for her skin tone and the bridesmaids were also wearing long nude gowns.More photos below.

FATAL ACCIDENT ALONG ENUGU/ONITSHA EXPRESSWAY CLAIMS MANY LIVES (WARNING: GRAPHIC PHOTOS}.

       This is very sad. Scores of passengers were killed after a fatal motor accident which happened along Enugu/ Onitsha road on sunday. The passengers were said to be traveling in an Eastern Mass Transit (EMT) bus before the horrible accident occurred which left many dead and others injured. The incident was reported to have caused a huge traffic gridlock along the highway as other road users stopped to see the gory sight and also help the accident victims.The bodies of the victims were said to have been evacuated. TRAGEDY AS SON OF TRADITIONAL RULER STABS HIS ELDER BROTHER TO DEATH (GRAPHIC PHOTOS).

     According to one of my reporter Chinenye Genevieve who reported this stories today with the caption ''What a wicked world, brother killed his blood brother. This happened in a town called Ifitedunu in Dunukofia LGA of Anambra State. I can't believe things of this kind still happenes, well let the world here and see, we must be careful no matter where we are.. The Killed: Ekene Onyeagu Killer name: Ejimkoye Onyeagu Both from same parents... the killer must be persecuted according to the law, though he is on the run but how long will he continue running, the spirit of his brother shall never let him rest, RIP Ekene''.Another source claimed that '' There was tragedy in lfitedunu as the second son of late Osuofia l of lfitedunu stabbed his elder brother after a scuffle and he died in the process.It is unclear what led to the scuffle''.More details later. EFCC RE-ARRAIGNS DARIYE'S SON OVER N1.5 BILLION FRAUD TODAY.

       The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, on Tuesday, April 10, 2018, re-arraigned Nanle Dariye, son of former Plateau governor, Sen. Joshua Dariye, on six-counts amended charge of money laundering to the tune of about N1.5 billion. He was arraigned before Justice Ijeoma Ojukwu at the Federal High Court, Abuja. He pleaded “not guilty” to all six-counts. The offense contravened Section 5(1) (a) of the Money Launde ring Prohibition Act, 2011 as amended and punishable under Section 5 (b) of the same Act.When the matter was called, the Prosecuting Counsel, Mr George Adebola said that the matter was for re-arraignment and prayed the court to read the charge to the defendant to take his plea.The EFCC had first arraigned Dariye on February 27, 2018 on the same charges alongside Apartment le Paradis, a hotel where Nanle was a director.Nanle sometime in 2013, failed to report a cash transaction to the tune of about N1.5 billion which he received through the...

NUC PARLEYS EFCC TODAY IN TACKLING OPERATION OF ILLEGAL INSTITUTIONS.{PHOTOS}.

       The Executive Secretary of the National Universities Commission, NUC, Prof. Abubakar Rasheed on Tuesday, April 10, 2018 called for intervention of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission EFCC, in checking the activities of fraudsters operating illegal institutions in the country. The appeal was made during a visit to the Acting Chairman of the EFCC, Ibrahim Magu, at the Commission Head Office, Wuse II, Abuja.  The visit, according to Prof. Rasheed was a follow up on the advocacy by the EFCC boss earlier August 2017 for a course focusing specifically on anti-corruption to be introduced in curriculum of Nigerian universities.Magu had during the said visit promised that the EFCC would sponsor up to 20 Ph.D researchers on any aspect of corruption every year, for the next 10 years. In response to the call, Prof. Rasheed today presented a draft curriculum of a course in Cyber Security and Forensic Science to the Commission for its input.While commen...

     The attention of the Honourable Minister of Finance, Mrs. Kemi Adeosun, has been drawn to false media reports of a “strongly-worded letter to the President” objecting to the payment of $16.9 million fees to two lawyers for the recovery of Abacha funds. 2. The Minister wishes to dissociate herself and the Federal Ministry of Finance from recent malicious and misleading media reports on the Abacha refunds. The Minister had at no time written any letter to the President or any member of the Federal Executive Council (FEC) on the payment of lawyers for the Abacha recovery. 3. She also refuted the flawed media reports of controversy surrounding the Abacha recovery, disclosing that the sum of US$322,515,931.83 was received into a Special Account in the Central Bank of Nigeria on December 18, 2017 from the Swiss Government. 4.
