 October 1 protest: Ogun court restricts protesters to MKO Abiola Stadium, three other venues A High Court sitting in Abeokuta, Ogun State, has restricted members of the #FearlessInOctober protest groups in the state to the MKO Abiola Stadium in Abeokuta, Gateway International Stadium, Sagamu; Dipo Dina Stadium, Ijebu Ode, and Ansar-Ud-Deen Comprehensive High School, Ota. The court presided by Tajudeen. A.Okunsokan gave this order following an application brought by the Attorney-General of Ogun State in suit no AB/667/2024, and with Messers Afolabi Adeboye, Ifemosu Michael, Lekan Soneye (for themselves and members of the#FearlessInOctober protests); Bestman Okereafor (on behalf of the Progressive Students Movement), Francis Adeyanju (on behalf of the National Association of Nigerian Students) and Thomas Kehinde (on behalf of the National Association of Ogun Students), as respondents.                         Hollywood couple Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are planning to adopt a Syrian orphan out of 3 siblings.Angelina have met up with three Syrian brothers who were orphaned,after their father was taken away by soldiers and their mother killed in a bombing incident.Angelina and Brad Pitt are parents to six children and three adopted children.Angelina wanted to adopt all three but when she got back to the United States,and told Brad about it,Brad Pitt said no.Brad Pitt said going from six children to nine was just way too much,and Brad was concerned about how it would impact on their kids.But Angelina Jolie didn't put up a fight.She knew it just wouldn't work.But they compromised at adopting one.One more photo below.               

11 BOKO HARAM MEMBERS,KILLED TODAY BY CAMEROONIAN SOLDIERS.

                     Todady tuesday,Cameroon army killed 11 Boko Haram militants in clashes in the northern town of Amchide early today tuesday morning.A military ministry spokesman Colonel Didier Badjeck said ''Our troops close to the zone were alerted by our intelligence system,reacted and there was a fight.They {Boko Haram} returned the second time more numerous and they found us ready for combat.Their was no life lost on the Cameroonian military side''.

SENATOR SARAKI'S TRIAL,WILL BEGIN ON THE 21ST OF OCTOBER 2015.

               Today tuesday,Senator Bukola Saraki appeared before the Code of Conduct Tribunal and he pleaded not guilty .Justice Danladi Umar,Chairman of the Tribunal,ajourned the sitting to allow Saraki receive proper brief of the 13 count charge against him.Saraki is accused of offences which include anticipatory declaration of assets,false declaration of assets in forms he filed before the Code of Conduct Bureau while he was governor of Kwara state.Other charges are that the Senate President failed to declare some assets he acquired while in office as governor.Among other offences includes allegedly acquiring assets beyond his legitimate earnings,Saraki is also accused of operating foreign accounts while being a public officer governor and senator.The charges were prepared by M.S Hassan,a deputy director in the office of the Attorney General of the Federation.The said offences violated sections of the fifth Schedule of 1999 Nigerian Constitution as amended.He is also said to have

2 STOREY BUILDING COLLAPSED TODAY IN LEKKI,LAGOS STATE.

                    The two storey building that collapsed is located at 37 Agungi Ajiran road,opposite Obafemi Olatunji street,Lekki was said to have caved in early morning today tuesday aroud 6:45am.People are currently trapped under the two storey building which is said to be under construction.It was gathered that the developer is developing three building of two storeys each in the same compound,with one of them collapsing in the early hours of tuesday,but no death has been recorded yest.Officials of the Police,Lagos State Emergency Management Agency,LASEMA,fire service and other rescue agencies are currently on ground as rescue operation is still ongoing,but two people have been rescued alive so far.Unconfirmed reports said six people were said to be in the building when it collapsed,with only two rescued so far,with one treated and discharged,while the other is still in the hospital.A motorcycle was recovered from the ground floor of the building at about 3:45pm according to the

A DANISH MAN ''PETER'',WAS ARRESTED WITH 21 FEMALE GENITALS IN SOUTH AFRICA.

                       Today it was reported that,a Danish store gun owner has been arrested in South Africa after 21 pieces of female genitals were found in his home freezer.Anesthetics and surgical equipment were found in 58 year old Peter Frederiksen's home last week along with the body parts.South African police said yesterday monday that the Danish man will face charges of sexual assault,intimidation and domestic violence.Peter Frederiksen who they said is wanted in Denmark for illegal dealing in firearms,lured his victims from neighbouring Lesotho,sedating the women before performing illegal operations on them.Frederik will remain in custody after appearing at a court the central city of Bloemfontein on monday.He is due to appear in court next monday for the hearing of his bail application.
