 October 1 protest: Ogun court restricts protesters to MKO Abiola Stadium, three other venues A High Court sitting in Abeokuta, Ogun State, has restricted members of the #FearlessInOctober protest groups in the state to the MKO Abiola Stadium in Abeokuta, Gateway International Stadium, Sagamu; Dipo Dina Stadium, Ijebu Ode, and Ansar-Ud-Deen Comprehensive High School, Ota. The court presided by Tajudeen. A.Okunsokan gave this order following an application brought by the Attorney-General of Ogun State in suit no AB/667/2024, and with Messers Afolabi Adeboye, Ifemosu Michael, Lekan Soneye (for themselves and members of the#FearlessInOctober protests); Bestman Okereafor (on behalf of the Progressive Students Movement), Francis Adeyanju (on behalf of the National Association of Nigerian Students) and Thomas Kehinde (on behalf of the National Association of Ogun Students), as respondents.                                According to a spokeperson Mubarak for the Bulgarian foreign ministry said today wednesday that ''Six Bulgarians working with the UN's World Food Programme {WFP} were detained by Sudanese rebels after their helicopter made an emergency landing in Sudan's war-torn South Kordofan province.The three member crew of the helicopter and three officers of Sofia based Heli Air,the carrier that operated it,were being detained.The flight which was scheduled from South Sudan to Khartoun,flew into an active combat zone in South Kordofan that has been subject to bombings by the government''According to the rebels spokesperson  Mubarak Ardol said ''We just wanted to confirm they were not linked to the Khartoun regime.We are currently in contact with the UN and the WFP to organise their release.Once we confirm that they are fact working with the UN's WFP and not for the benefit of the Sudanese government,we are fully prepared to releas
