 A man in Kansas City spent an unbelievable 8 hours in a port-a-potty tank after falling in while trying to retrieve his Mt. Dew. Crew members with Patriot Portable Restrooms were in the process of checking all of the port-a-pottys to ensure they were empty. This is a routine action before having the port-a-pottys towed away.  The port-a-pottys in question had been provided for the World Cup Games that had been hosted in Kansas City, Missouri.  As crews went to each port-a-potty and knocked, it seemed like a normal day with the company until they knocked on a locked port-a-potty door. The worker called out and received no response. He then gave the typical 10 minute warning for the person to leave the port-a-potty. After waiting 10 minutes and still no response from the occupant behind the locked door, the worker flagged down an officer with Kansas City PD.  Fatal Gas Tanker Explosion at Sangotedo, LAGOS. A gas tanker explosion at Ologuro Bus Stop, opposite Total Filling Station in Sangotedo, has claimed the life of one person and left two others injured. A tipper truck, registration unknown, rammed into the tanker from behind, sparking a massive fire. According to Olufemi Damilola Oke-Osanyintolu, Permanent Secretary of LASEMA, preliminary investigations indicate the tipper truck driver’s over speeding and reckless driving were the immediate causes.  Fuel Subsidy Is Back – Obasanjo Former President, Olusegun Obasanjo, revealed that fuel subsidy which was removed by the Federal Government in 2023 has been reintroduced due to inflation. President Bola Tinubu during his inaugural address on May 29, 2023, had declared that fuel subsidy “is gone.” The development has led to the increase of petrol price from about N200 to over N600 per litre. In an interview with the Financial Times, Obasanjo faulted the manner in which the subsidy was removed by the government. According to him, the government should have implemented some measures before the subsidy removal. He, however, explained that the subsidy has “come back” due to the inflation rate. “There’s a lot of work that needs to be done. Not just wake up one morning and say you removed the subsidy.
