PSC PROMOTES OVER 8,000 POLICE OFFICERS. (PHOTO).

 PSC Promotes Over 8,000 Police Officers On Wednesday, the Police Service Commission (PSC) approved the promotion of 8,053 senior police officers. Earlier in the week, 11 Commissioners of Police were promoted to the rank of Assistant Inspectors General (AIGs), and 16 Deputy Commissioners of Police (DCPs) were elevated to the rank of Commissioners of Police (CPs). Additionally, 21 Assistant Commissioners of Police (ACPs) were promoted to DCPs, and 57 Chief Superintendents of Police (CSPs) moved up to Assistant Commissioners (ACPs). According to a statement by the PSC's spokesperson, Ikechukwu Ani, the total number of promotions included 1,348 Superintendents of Police (SPs) promoted to Chief Superintendents, 876 Deputy Superintendents of Police (DSPs) promoted to Superintendents, and 5,829 Assistant Superintendents of Police (ASPs) promoted to DSPs. The report suggests, falsely, that agencies under the supervision of the Vice President do not normally comply with established rules where presidential approvals are required. This is obviously misleading and aims only to plant seeds of discord in the Presidency, while attempting to create unnecessary national hysteria. EFCC ARRESTS SUSPECTED YAHOO BOYS.[PHOTOS}.#PRESS RELEASE.

      In its war against internet fraud, officers of the Cyber Crime Section at the Abuja Zonal office of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, on Monday, September 9, 2019 raided the residences of suspected yahoo-yahoo fraudsters at House 16 Yashin Dogara News Engineering, Dawaki, Abuja. In the same vein, arrests were carried out on the 13th of September at Nepa Road, Phase 4, Kubwa and at No 18 Samuel Crescent, Dantata Estate Kubwa,  Abuja. The raid followed covert intelligence gathering and tip offs from already arrested suspects. The suspects arrested are Iloh Joseph and Emeka Jonathan. In the course of the operation, some of the items recovered include mobile phones, laptop computers, and a Toyota corolla. The suspects are cooperating with the Commission. They will be charged to court as soon as investigations are concluded.More photos below.

WOMAN STABBED HER HUSBAND TO DEATH FOR REFUSING TO RELEASE MONEY FOR THEIR DAUGHTER'S BIRTHDAY PARTY IN LAGOS.{PHOTO}.

       The Lagos state police command has arrested 23-year-old Stella Peters for stabbing her husband, Haruna Bala, to death today Tuesday September 17th. A statement released by the spokesperson of the police command, Bala Elkana, says the couple who were not legally married, lived together at No 2 Tejuosho Avenue, Surulere lagos, for three years and have a Baby who just turned one. An argument ensued between them which turned violent and the woman used a kitchen knife to stab the man in the back which led to his death. Bala says the woman accused the man of refusing to release money for their daughter's birthday party. Homicide detectives from the State Criminal Investigation Department Yaba have taken over the investigation. The suspect confessed to the commission of the Crime. She will be charged to Court for murder. .

The outreach, which is taking place at the Wauru Jabbe Primary School, is being coordinated by the NAF Medical Services Branch, in compliance with the directives of the Chief of the Air Staff (CAS), Air Marshal Sadique Abubakar, for the Branch to provide medical assistance and relief materials to the affected communities.       Operatives of the Uyo Zonal Office of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, has arrested three men in Uyo the Akwa Ibom State Capital, for allegedly impersonating operatives of both the Economic and financial Crimes Commission, EFCC and the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission, ICPC. The arrested suspects are Norbert Rampa, 51; Patrick Essien, 50; and Gabriel Daniel, 32. Rampa, Essien and Daniel, along with other members of their team had paid a courtesy visit to the Commissions office in Uyo, on September 19, 2018, under the Grassroot Development Advocacy Initiative (GDAI) which they claim was a registered organisation, under the auspices of National Anti-corruption Coalition (NACC).     President Muhammadu Buhari has dissolved the Special Presidential Investigation Panel for the Recovery of Public Property (SPIP) as currently constituted with Mr. Okoi Obono-Obla as Chairman. The Attorney-General of the Federation and Minister of Justice has been directed to immediately take over all outstanding investigations and other activities of the SPIP. The panel was established in August 2017 by the then Acting President, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo, SAN to investigate specifically mandated cases of corruption, abuse of office and similar offences by public officers. President Buhari thanks all members of the dissolved panel for their services.
