Threat to Life : Ogun Police Command Summons Portable  The attention of Ogun State Police Command has been drawn to a video clip circulating on social media where a famous hip-hop musician Habeeb Okikiola a.k.a Portable, the Zazu crooner was seen organising some youths to beat up a young man and inflict bodily injury on him. The incident was said to have taken place somewhere within Ogun State about two days ago. Such unruly and violent behaviour is not only barbaric but unbecoming of somebody who is supposed to be a role model for the youths and should not be tolerated.” The police insist that if Portable’s unruly behaviour is not checked, the same act will send wrong signals to the youths. Abdulsalam Abubakar Flown Abroad Over Serious Health Complications  Former military Head of State, General Abdulsalami Abubakar (retd.) has reportedly flown abroad over his deteriorating health condition. The retired Army General, according to ThisDay, may have suffered a partial stroke. According to the report, he was taken abroad about three weeks ago for medical treatment. He was first flown to Dubai in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) but is now at a hospital in the United Kingdom (UK). Abubakar was accompanied by his wife and former First Lady, Justice Fati Abubakar. His in-law and Niger Governor, Abubakar Bello left the country after the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential primary to visit him.

2023: Why It's Difficult For Lawan To Return To Senate - INEC The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, has explained the only way Senate President, Ahmad Lawan, could return to the Senate in 2023. From INEC’s explanation, Lawan or any individual in his position is left at the mercy of the candidates who have been legally and constitutionally nominated by their political parties. LASBCA COMMENCES DEMOLITION OF DISTRESSED SCHOOL BUILDING IN BARIGA Officials of Lagos State Building Control Agency (LASBCA) have commenced the demolition of the distressed Milton Montessori School located at Jide Street, off Odunsi Street, in the Bariga area of the State. Alleged N450m Fraud: Court Admits Former Minister, Bulama, Others’ Confessional Statements as Exhibit Justice Fadima Murtala Aminu of the Federal High Court sitting in Damaturu, Yobe State, has admitted in evidence the confessional statements made by a former Minister of Science and Technology, Abdu Bulama. Bulama was the coordinator of former President Goodluck Jonathan's 2015 re-election campaign committee in Yobe State.
