 Zamfara Governor’s Wife Facilitates Marriage for 100 Orphans, Offers Support to Grooms The wife of the Zamfara State Governor, Huriyya Dauda Lawal, has overseen the marriage of 100 orphaned girls in the state. The brides, who were well cared for prior to the ceremony, received full attention for their beautification. Each bride’s dowry, amounting to 151,000 Naira, was covered by the Governor’s wife. In addition, Huriyya Dauda Lawal provided essential household items, including furniture such as cushions, beds, wardrobes, mattresses, and kitchen utensils. Furthermore, she offered financial assistance of N50,000 to each groom to help them start their businesses and achieve self-sufficiency. Hajiya Lawal encouraged the brides to respect their husbands and practice patience. She also assured them that the Zakkat and Endowment Board would be available to offer support should any marital issues arise.

                         Kate Middleton who gave birth to her beautiful Princess on saturday May 2,2015 around 8:34am,have been named at last.Though after Kate Middleton gave birth,they said they have not settled on a name yet.So today monday May 4th 2015,William and Catherine have settled on a name for the princess but will only reveal it once William the Duke of Cambridge has informed his grandmother in person.So after William informed his grandmother,it was announced few hours ago that the new born will be named Princess Charlotte Elizabeth Diana.From the Royal news they said ''A change in the law in 2013 means that only the six people closest to the throne have to ask the permission of the Queen if they want to get married.And as from 2 May 2015,Princess Beatrice of York is seventh in line meaning she doesn't have to check with her granny the Queen first before getting married''.More photos below.       ...

2 DEAD TODAY,IN BURUNDI PROTEST AGAINST THEIR PRESIDENT'S THIRD TERM BID.

                  According to sources,today monday morning,two people have been killed in new protests in Burundi against their president's re-election bid.The protests started peacefully but got out of hand when protesters started attacking police with stones.The protesters are protesting over President Pierre Nkurunziza's bid for a third term.The protests resumed in Burundi's capital today monday after a weekend pause as thousands continued to protest the president's decision to seek a third term.It is the biggest unrest Burundi has seen since a civil war ended in 2005.The protesters want to force president Pierre Nkurunzinza to withdraw his bid for a third term,which may be seen as a violation of the Arusha Agreement that ended a civil war which left more than 250,000 people dead.One more photo below.                                        ...
