 October 1 protest: Ogun court restricts protesters to MKO Abiola Stadium, three other venues A High Court sitting in Abeokuta, Ogun State, has restricted members of the #FearlessInOctober protest groups in the state to the MKO Abiola Stadium in Abeokuta, Gateway International Stadium, Sagamu; Dipo Dina Stadium, Ijebu Ode, and Ansar-Ud-Deen Comprehensive High School, Ota. The court presided by Tajudeen. A.Okunsokan gave this order following an application brought by the Attorney-General of Ogun State in suit no AB/667/2024, and with Messers Afolabi Adeboye, Ifemosu Michael, Lekan Soneye (for themselves and members of the#FearlessInOctober protests); Bestman Okereafor (on behalf of the Progressive Students Movement), Francis Adeyanju (on behalf of the National Association of Nigerian Students) and Thomas Kehinde (on behalf of the National Association of Ogun Students), as respondents.                                 Yesterday friday Rihanna's former publicist apologized for making up rumors that Rihanna was having an affair with Jay Z.He said that he only spread the false rumors to boost Rihanna's 2005 debut single ''Pon De Replay'' back then when she was 17 year old.He said he was forced to issue a public apology yesterday after an explosive new book claimed that due to his false rumor,Beyonce and Jay z,who started dating in 2000,had separated for a year.He said he had already apologized to Jay Z but he had to issue an official statement.''I'm currently releasing projects with my label Urban Hitchcock through Tidal,a company that is owned by Jay z and Beyonce .....Hopefully this news hasn't ruined that relationship for me.The pre stunt that i did was out of desperation to help break Pon de Replay.It was reckless and i didn't think it was going to work.I was just throwing spaghetti at the wall to see what would stick.I did

GOVERNOR WIKE'S ELECTION WAS NULLIFIED TODAY,BY THE ELECTION TRIBUNAL IN RIVERS STATE.

                                                                     According to some pressmen,today saturday,the Governorship Election Petitions Tribunal for Rivers State nullified the election of Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers for non-compliance with the provisions of the Electoral Act.The Tribunal sitting in Abuja ordered the Independent National Electoral Commission {INEC] to conduct fresh governorship election in the state within 90 days.The three member tribunal,presided over by Justice Suleiman Ambursa,gave the orders in its judgment in a petition filed against the election of Wike by the All Progressives Congress {APC} and its candidate in the April 11 election in the state,Dr Dakuku Peterside.In the Judgment,which was read by Ambursa for about three hours,the tribunal held that the petitioners successfully proved their case that the election was conducted in total disregard to electoral guidelines.The process of accreditation for the election was compromised with the use of i

3 PEOPLE DIED TODAY IN MAIDUGURI,AFTER A FEMALE SUICIDE BOMBER DETONATED A BOMB.

                         Today saturday,three people died after a female suicide bomber blew up herself in Dala Yazaram Maiduguri,living several people injured.A local resident said he saw two female suicide bombers enter the neighbourhood but one of them was stopped by people nearby while the other blew herself up.''Three people have been killed and many injured.One of the terrorists was arrested before she could detonate''A spokesman for the National Emergency Management Agency {NEMA,said one person,a member of the civilian vigilante group assisting the military in the fight against Boko Haram,was killed and 10 injured in the blast.Four female suicide bombers at about 7:45 am today in the morning attempted to enter a Dala Ajeri area of Maiduguri but were intercepted by the civilian JTF {Joint Military Task Force}.Three of the female suicide bombers detonated the explosions in their bodies immediately and the fourth one was intercepted but later died''.He said
